Johnsonville Classic Meatballs and Spaghetti

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2014
You can't get much easier than this! I'm usually not a huge fan of frozen meatballs, but these Johnsonville meatballs were very good and perfect for a weeknight meal!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2013
Oh my were these good! I followed the recipe with the exception of adding cloves. I didn't have any so I added an extra 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. I also soaked the raisins in water for a few minutes before adding them to the mix...this helps them plump up a bit and not burn. Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2006
This was really good. My husband has now declared this his favorite meal. I used muenster cheese because we do not care for swiss. I had to adjust the cooking time slightly, as my oven tends to run very hot. I suggest using colored toothpicks, or toothpicks with ribbon on the end because once the chicken was cooked I lost a couple of them (much to the surprise of whoever was eating the chicken). Overall, this was a very easy recipe and I'll definately make it again!

Amazing Muffin Cups

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2014
My family loved these! Even my picky 9 year old! My husband thought they'd also be good using ground Johnsonville sausage instead of the breakfast links. I also found that the hash browns didn't crisp after 12 minutes. I put them back in the oven for another 15 and they were perfect!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
First of all, let me just say that the crumb topping is to die for! I made a banana bread loaf instead of muffins (baked at 350 for about 45 minutes) and it was delicious. Mine came out a tad too dry but I think that's because my bananas were on the smaller side, so I would suggest using 4 small bananas or 3 large bananas. This is definitely a keeper!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
So yummy! I received nothing but kudos on these and people couldn't stop eating them. I had to use 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup margarine because I only had one stick of butter left. I also used 1 cup of milk chocolate chips and 1 cup of white chocolate chips (again...all I had in the house). Other than that, I followed the directions exactly. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Delicious!

Fruit Cobbler from Mott's®

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2014
My family went nuts over this recipe. My husband walked in the door after work salivating at the smell of it cooking in the oven! I was very skeptical about how this would taste using the applesauce and canned fruit, but the flavors melded together beautifully. I followed the recipe exactly and used regular Bisquick for the top and frozen blueberries. #AllstarsMotts

Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
My husband lived in Florida for many years and is a key lime pie aficionado. I have tried many recipes over the years, and none have succeeded, until now. I used a regular pie crust instead of a graham cracker crust, and I also added 1/2 tsp of vanilla and 3 tbs of powdered sugar to the whipped cream topping. He is absolutely thrilled! Thanks IRENED for the recipe!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
This was very easy and the au jus it makes was so good! I used a rump roast but I think a different cut of meat would have been better. The rump roast shredded instead of sliced and was a bit tough. I cooked mine on low for 5 hours and it was done...I think 7 would be way too long. I used a can of Michelob Lite (that was the only beer in the fridge that my husband wouldn't disown me for using in a meal) and added about 7 shakes of Worcestershire sauce and a little bit of garlic powder and onion powder to the meat. I served over rolls that I toasted slightly in the oven. I also added some mozzarella to a few of the sandwiches. Yummy!

This punch was so good! I accidentally bought fruit punch flavored soda and it still turned out great. I served it at an office baby shower and everyone raved!

Slow Cooker Apples with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2014
...can't type right now...too busy drooling and licking my spoon! This was so very yummy! It wasn't overly sweet and paired nicely with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. And while cooking, this made my house smell like heaven!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
I made these as holiday gifts for my coworkers. One of them said "these are more addicting than crack". She's right. They are so yummy and oh so good. I used an 11x17 cookie sheet with sides and lined it with non stick aluminum foil. This was super easy. One important tip: mix the butter and brown sugar together until combined over low heat - then bring it up to a boil and DO NOT STIR IT!! No matter how badly you want to. Let it boil for 3 minutes and pour it over the crackers. Perfection!

Boston Brown Bread III

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2013
First, let me just say that I LOVED this bread! But...if you are looking for a bread that is, well, bread like, this is not it. However, if you are looking for a moist bread that's similar to banana bread, then look no further! This bread is fantastic warm with some butter or cream cheese on top. I didn't change anything in the recipe except that I mixed the ingredients by hand and then used my bread machine to bake it (by using the bake only setting at 1 hour 5 minutes) and it turned out perfect!

Shortcut Chicken Manicotti

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2013
Wow, was this good! I have to admit that I was skeptical about not cooking the manicotti prior to stuffing, but it worked out just fine and was much easier to stuff that way. My kids LOVED this and so did my husband and I.

Party Beans

Reviewed: May 21, 2015
YUM! This recipe was incredibly easy and so delicious! I drained the beans per the directions but became worried that there wasn't enough liquid when I added all of the other ingredients. Turns out I was worried for nothing. The dish turned out great! The only thing I would do differently next time is cut the beef down to about 3/4 of a pound. 1 1/2 pounds was too much in my opinion.
