Easy Banana Bread

I would have to give this 4.5 stars. I made two loaves, one with nuts and one without. I really enjoyed this bread, especially the crust. I did think it was tad dry. My husband liked the bread but thought it had too much sugar in it. He also said that it has more of a cake like texture than a bread like texture.

Mom's Irish Ziti

This was a good ziti recipe. We had some ground lamb given to us by a friend and I couldn't figure out what to do with it. Since this ziti recipe was similar to my own, I figured I'd give it a shot. My husband and kids enjoyed this.

Beefy Sweet Potato Hash

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about the combination of beef, sweet potatoes and taco seasoning, but they actually work very well together. My husband said he would have preferred this without the tortillas so in the future I will serve it without.

Yum! These were gone so fast I almost didn't have time to take a photo first. I followed the recipe directions with no changes. I did find that the crusts were ready in about 8 minutes, instead of 10-12. Otherwise, it was simple and oh so easy!

HERDEZ® Creamy Tomatillo Avocado Salsa

Served this at a pot luck...everyone loved this dip! The only complaint (if you can call it that) was from one person who said it was bit too spicy, but then admitted that they normally don't eat spicy food. I followed the recipe exactly and used a blender to mix it all together.

My husband and son LOVED this pizza! I followed the recipe with no changes. The "Birds Eye® Recipe Ready Pizza Supreme Blend" made this so simple to prepare. This is definitely a keeper!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Oh my were these good! I followed the recipe with the exception of adding cloves. I didn't have any so I added an extra 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. I also soaked the raisins in water for a few minutes before adding them to the mix...this helps them plump up a bit and not burn. Thanks for the recipe!

Golden Chicken with Noodles from Birds Eye®

I have made this recipe twice. The first time I made it exactly as written and it was very bland. I agree with other reviewers who think that it is a starter recipe...it just needs some flavor added to it. The second time I made this, I added some seasoning and some Italian cheese blend to the dish and my family enjoyed it.

Baked Spaghetti II

Made this a few weeks ago and everyone enjoyed it but no one seem thrilled. Tonight when I made it, I substituted the ground beef for Johnsonville’s Italian Sausage and WOW! Everyone raved and my picky kids were asking for seconds and thirds.

Jill's Sweet and Tangy Meatloaf

I was a bit skeptical of this recipe but decided to try it anyway after reading the positive reviews. When the sauce was cooking, my house smelled heavenly. I liked the flavor but did find it a bit on the bland side. Next time I make this I will make some extra sauce to use as a glaze after baking. I found that an hour at 350 was a bit too long so I will try 45 minutes next time.

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

I thought this bread was very good. Following other reviewers advice, I changed the servings to 15 for my 2lb bread machine. I shouldn't have done this because it made too much bread. I followed the ingredients exactly and I didn't think that the bread was too sweet at all. I served this warm with butter and everyone loved it.

OMG these are good! I followed the recipe exactly and I didn't think that these were too cake-like. The frosting is delicious but you could enjoy these without the frosting too! These went so quickly and everyone asked for the recipe.

Cheese-Stuffed Giant Meatballs

Let me start by saying this: my picky 7 year old loved this recipe! She got a kick out of the individual sized loaves and loved the cheese in the middle. My husband and I also liked the recipe but thought it was too bland. Next time I make this (and there will be a next time...I promised my daughter) I'll add more seasoning to the meat and will experiment with different types of cheese to see which flavor works best.
