Truly a rich dish! Goes great with a nice, smooth bottle of Chardonnay!

These are delicious! I took the advice of many others and added extra butter. They baked up beautifully.

Chicken-Stuffed Shells with Sherry Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
This was very good. But, it took me quite a bit longer than 30 minutes to get it ready for the oven. I also think it could have used a little more sauce. I will make it again but use more chicken broth.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Definitely easy to make! I only got 28 cookies out of the recipe, though. I used Maine blueberry jam, peach, apricot and red raspberry. They will look very pretty on the Christmas cookie tray. I wonder if some of the people on here that had trouble with the dough may have used margarine instead of butter.

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
This is a wonderful salad! The lemon poppyseed dressing is fabulous. I served this salad with stuffed lobster and the dressing complimented the meal splendidly. Definitely will have this again and again!

Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
This did add great flavor to baked chicken, though I found it didn't make very much sauce. I used only 2 chicken breasts and made the full amount of basting sauce and barely had enough. Very basic recipe and easy to make. Went great with stuffing and a tasty salad. I'll use this whenever I want to have baked chicken.

Stovetop Granola

This was very easy to make and tasty, too! I took the advice of another reviewer and used parchment paper for easy pouring and easy clean-up. The perfect quick and easy healthy snack.

Healthier Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Wow! Fabulous! We made this on a cold, snowy day and enjoyed every single bite of it. I added a can of black beans to it and we used some mexican cheese as a topping as well. This will be made again!

Oatmeal and Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
Not bad - just won't be my "go to" recipe for pancakes. We all agreed that a plain old pancake with some wild Maine blueberries tossed in the batter is far better than these.

Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
This cake is good, and it is moist. It just didn't have as much chocolate "punch" as I was looking for. I will make it again, though.

Twinkie Tiramisu, Trailer Trash Style

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
It doesn't get any easier or better than this! Definitely a keeper! The marscapone mixture is delicious. I recommend buying a BIG box of twinkies so you have extras to munch on.

Chocolate Mint Dessert Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
I've been making this exact recipe for years! It is very rich. We nicknamed them "Death by Chocolate" at our house. Sometimes instead of the creme de menthe I just use mint extract.

Blueberry Nut Oat Bran Muffins

Very tasty! They are moist. My son said they were too healthy for him to eat - as he shoved a second one in his mouth. LOL! I will be making again.

Very nice indeed! The house smelled wonderful while baking. I baked it right in my bread machine and it rose up nice and high. Tastes great!

Confetti Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2010
Very tasty, but a little bland for our tastes. I think next time I'll add a little lemon zest or juice to this. It went very well with our baked tilapia.

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2010
Suzy & Missy say "WAY TO GO!!". They love these things. I did take one reviewer's advice and used my mixer and I'm glad. A whisk would not have worked. I probably added 1/4 cup water as well. The dogs love them and are anxiously waiting to go next door and share with their friends!

Very good! I followed the recipe to a "T" and it came out beautiful! Nothing difficult, but tastes like you slaved away in the kitchen for hours! A new favorite for sure.

Seafood Piccata

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
We used angel hair pasta for this, and it was delicious! There were only two of us, so I cut the recipe in half and we had leftovers the second night. Made a delicious, quick seafood dinner! I'm thinking maybe next time I'll sprinkle some fresh parmesan cheese over it.

Pecan Crusted Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2010
Very good! I followed the advice of other reviewers and added some brown sugar to the pecans. Wow! We loved it! I also had some eggbeaters to use up, so used that instead of real eggs. I don't know if that changed anything or not. We will have these again!
