I have a wonderful fiance Alex,a daughter born February 23, 2009 and a son born November 26, 2010. I live with my fiance, daughter and father-in-law, we have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I love to cook, but hate cleaning up afterwards.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with desserts, cookies cakes muffins. but due to needs I have to make more main dishes, I cook more on the low-carb recipes due to my father-in-laws diet needs. so we eat alot of chicken
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mashed potatoes, Meat, Salad, and Corn or Green Beans every sunday. the classic family dinner.

Mini Chicken Pot Pies
I boiled the chicken while preparing the rest of the ingredients. It needs salt and pepper, and I threw in some shredded potatoes, works best with crescent dough, I made 2 tubes of crescents and 2 tubes of regular biscuits. Chicken mixture made a lot more then I was expecting, so luckily I had extra biscuits in the fridge, however I could find 1 muffin tin (half dozen). So these pot pies were gone before I could get the next ones in the oven. All 4 people in the house overwhelmingly agreed that this is a keeper (even the husband who isn't a fan of pot pies)!

Baked Potato Soup V
it came out very thick, it is perfect for my family, I love soup but it's difficult for my 2 year old to eat, she actually ate this with her spoon

Shepherd's Pie VI
made with carrots and peas. tasted just like a local restaurant's Shepard's Pie, my husband and 19 month old daughter loved it
