Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: May 16, 2014
This dish is a staple during the summer for cookouts. I usually triple the recipe for our family (I only double the broccoli, triple everything else) because people love this stuff so much. The only thing I change is to omit the raisins and sunflower seeds and add in sliced almonds. I do not blanch the broccoli as others have, I love the crisp crunch against the soft tortellini. I also follow the tortellini cooking instructions since I use frozen and only cook about 3-5 minutes. I have even made this and added in some sliced up grilled chicken and made this a main dish. Simply love this recipe!

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2013
Amazing recipe! I make as is except I do a jalapeno for the habenero. I make this for our Sunday family dinner and everyone loves this. It doubles well also (We have lots of people on Sunday!). Has that perfect heat level and has some great depth with the hot cocoa and smoke so it's not just hot that you are tasting. Love this stuff!

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2012
Yummy! The only way I cook broccoli anymore! Even my 2 year old eats this! I omit the salt as we watch our salt intake and broccoli has a fair amount of salt in it naturally, but that is the only change I make. Great recipe!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2012
Love this recipe! Have made it a couple of times and love how quick it is. I use Sriracha as the hot sauce. The only thing I do different is I cook the sauce separate to get it to thicken while the chicken is browning. Once the chicken browns, I add the already thickened sauce to the chicken and it gets nice and sticky without over cooking the chicken. Works wonderfully!

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
We have made this a few times and absolutely love it! The only thing I do different is I use fresh minced garlic and onion. I also buy a large tenderloin and cut it into thick chops to grill. The pork comes our tasting amazing and very tender. Like other reviewers I also cook down the marinade and use as a sauce over the pork when it is done, it really adds to the chops. Great recipe. My whole family loves it, even my 2 year old!

Garlic Bread Fantastique

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2012
This is the first recipe I have ever reviewed here and that is because of how awesome this recipe is! The ingredients sound so weird but it is so yummy! The only thing I change is that I use roasted garlic instead of the raw garlic and I used Italian seasoning in place of the oregano and sage (basically because I was out of both when I made the recipe the first time!). It is the only garlic bread I ever make anymore. Thank for the amazing recipe!
