Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
This is an excellent recipe. Here are the changes I made: 1. I didn't have shortening, so I used butter instead. 2. I didn't have cream of tartar and my baking soda was old, so I used baking powder instead (which is basically cream of tartar and baking soda combined). I used total of 3 tsp and it worked well. 3. I baked the cookies for 9 minutes, as they did not look done after 8 minutes (I'm not sure if that made a difference though) Overall, this recipe is a keeper. Very yummy treat!

Golden Chicken Tenders
It was good but a bit dry for my taste. Next time, instead of using butter, I'll use chicken broth.

Best Black Beans
The kids liked the beans, but for me it didn't have enough flavor.
