Fruit Cocktail Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
This is pretty good and very simple to make. I think I could have been more generous with the marshmallows. I added some red food coloring to make it prettier.

Half Time Hoisin Chicken Wings

These are real tasty and easy to make. I used Frank's hot sauce in place of the garlic chili sauce and reduced the brown sugar by about half or so. They were enjoyed by everyone. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Melissa's Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
This was delicious! So happy to have come upon this recipe. I was in search of a faceless recipe and was pleasantly surprised to find one this delicious! I used sherry instead of the Madeira wine and I left out the olives as we aren't fans of them. So many wonderful flavors in this dish. Thanks for sharing!

Delicious. I was lucky enough to have my daughter cook this for our dinner. She used homemade noodles.

Traditional Blackberry Cobbler

Very delicious! I'm not sure if the berries should have set up more or not, but it didn't matter. We had it warm with ice cream and it was heavenly.

Fisherman's Catch Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Had very good flavor. I used cod which at first tastes a bit fishy, so next time I might try using a different fish. I added two potatoes and I think it was a very good addition. Made it a bit more substantial. The only white wine I had was white zin and I think it was fine. Would try a dryer wine if I have it next time. Otherwise followed the recipe. The cod held up well in the slow cooker.

Overnight Eggnog French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2012
Delicious and definitely a keeper recipe. I made this as part of the All Star Ambassador Program. So glad I tried it. I couldn't find eggnog so I used the heavy cream and spices, but went a little heavier on the spices. I also substituted 1 T of maple syrup and 1 T of honey in place of the 2 T of corn syrup. I think that worked just fine. Baked it a bit longer than was recommended.

Oh so delicious and easy! I served it with baked potatoes and butternut squash. Like it even better than the orange chicken that we like.

House Fried Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2011
This is delicious! Bonus was I made it with everything I happened to have on hand. Used leftover shrimp, chicken and broccoli. Didn't have ham or peas. I think you can get by with what you happen to have. I eyeballed the amount of soy sauce and used some olive oil with about 1 tsp of sesame oil and then sprinkled some more sesame oil on as I finished cooking it. Very good!

Cherry Snowballs

These are pretty good. Not the most popular recipe I made, but something a bit different. They went together quite easy. I did use cherry juice in place of the water.
