White Chili with Ground Turkey

This was good, but I'll use less broth next time, it was too watery for my taste. I subbed tomatoes for the peppers for my mom, but would like to try with the peppers sometimes. I liked it with some hot sauce added in too!

Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup with Cardamom

Great soup! I left out the cardamom because I didn't have it. I also used another cup of chicken broth and I'm glad I did - it was nice a thick, but would have been too thick without the extra broth.

Citrus Dressing

Very good! I cut the sugar in half and it was still sweet enough. I did as another suggested and used some mayo instead of the egg and some of the oil. Thanks for the recipe!

100 Percent Whole Wheat Bread

Caramelized Turnips

These were pretty good - trying to eat more veggies and this is a good way to have turnips. Make sure you use a big enough pan because the first time I made this, I used too small of a pan and they never caramelized.

Vegetarian Stuffed Red Bell Peppers

This was OK but a little too sweet between the red pepper, apple, and tomatoes, I ate it and enjoyed it but don't think I'll ever crave it or really want to make it again. I like the idea though!

I halved the oil as many suggested - but I do think they were a tad bland... I would like to try adding some vanilla and perhaps some cinnamon - I would also like to try using ww flour for 1/2 of the ap.

These were good - I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup as others stated. I liked them, but there is a LOT of stuff in them - so just be prepared for that. I will make them again but they will not be made regularly.

My main complaint about this dish was that it is way too mushy - everything just tastes overcooked. If I make it again, I will be reducing the cooking time on pretty much everything except the beef.

Multigrain Muffins

Very good! I used 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 rye flour because I had no soy. I also used 1/2 OJ 1/2 Milk with Vinegar for the buttermilk. Very good - not dry at all! I will be making these again for sure.
