Butterfly Honey Pork Fillets

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
These were good, not great, but a very easy quick meal. Do NOT cook for time noted. They should be cooked 20 minutes maximum.

Cornbread Muffins I

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
These were delicious, but I have only rated 4 stars because I did make a change. I used canned corn instead of frozen corn. Next time I make these, I will add a can of diced chiles as well to make them "pop".

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
I have made this recipe several times. I love it. The only thing that I have changed over the last few times is that instead of peanut oil, I use canola (I don't like peanut oil). I also make double the marinade so that there is more sauce for rice. I usually saute onions and peppers in a different pan, but next time will try to add to the same pan and try some julienned carrots as well.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Smelled great when I came into the house after work, but it was sooooo dry. This was my fault, as I made it and set it on low and then worked all day. When making this recipe, if you follow the actual cooking time and basting instructions, it would probably be delicious. Unfortunately, I use slow cookers so that I can come home to dinner, not so that I can stay at home and baste.

Feta Cheese Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
We followed this recipe as written and they were the best turkey burgers I have ever had. They weren't dry at all. We ate them with Tzatziki on a bun and a slice of onion. It didn't need anything else. Definitely a summer keeper!!

Apple and Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
This is delicious. The only change we made was to use boneless chicken breasts. The gravy is so delish, I make boiled potatoes with this meal. This is a fantastic dish for leftovers too - it doesn't dry out when brought for lunch and heated up in the microwave.

Baked Beans, Texas Ranger

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
Might want to cook uncovered for 45 minutes and not the 1/2 and 1/2 - it tasted great!

A Jerky Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
I made this recipe exactly as given. It was excellent. There was definitely some heat, but not too much so to make inedible. If I were to change anything....I might save more marinade for the sauce, but that's only because I ate this with rice and the sauce would be nice to use on the rice.

Broccoli Beef II

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
I cooked this tonight. We found it rather bland. Rather than throwing the marinade away, next time I will keep it and put it along with the beef in the skillet.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
This recipe is fantastic!! We did saute the onions and added a tablespoon of worchestershire sauce, but it was delicious. We have made it with ground beef, but also with ground turkey and it was delicious. Usually have meatloaf sandwiches for leftovers and that's even better. Definitely my favorite meatloaf!!
