Scrumptious Salisbury Steak in Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2011
This was excellent, we both loved it. I used fresh mushrooms because I had a TON of them. The gravy was so delicious. It was a completely last minute dinner idea and was started and on the table in a half an hour. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. LOVE quick, easy, and delicious dinners. I will make this again, thank you!

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
Very good and easy to prepare. I may reduce cooking time, or lower the temp, because an entire layer hardened and burned to the bottom of the dish. Most likely user error though! What was salvageable was delicious! Thank you for the recipe!

Shrimply Delicious Shrimp Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
I chopped the shrimp because they were too large. Had on crackers as a dip/salad. Only used 1/2 cup mayo and it was A LOT of mayo, so 3/4 cup may be too much, but it's all about your personal preference. May add some Old Bay instead of salt next time to switch it up. Thanks for the recipe!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2011
This was very good. The only thing I changed was cutting the recipe to 4 servings (only two steaks for us) and a little less soy sauce because DH isn't a fan. I wish I could've let the steaks marinate a little longer but this was a last minute dinner idea. I didn't blend together, but may try to next time. I will be making this again and will meal plan a little better next time so they can marinate longer ;) Thanks for sharing!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
We made this amazing little dish over the weekend. I knew this was going to be a hit after reading all the reviews but WOW. DH said this is hands down the best chicken he's ever eaten and asked me to make it again sometime this week. I made it with zuchinni patties from this site and mushroom rice and it was an amazing meal. The marinade is to die for. Thank you so much for this excellent recipe!

Strawberry Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
These were wonderful. I had some strawberries that were on their way out so this was perfect. I followed the recipe exactly and my family loved them. Like other reviewers, my muffins stuck to the liners but once they cooled, they popped out pretty easily without much of a problem. Even better the next day!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
This was so delicious and obviously couldn't be any easier. My husband said this was the best pulled pork he ever ate and I agree! My old recipe has 5 times the ingredients and prep and doesn't taste this good. I will be making it like this from now on, thanks for sharing!

Buttercream Icing

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
Loved this icing! After reading reviews, I was tasting as I went with the powdered sugar. After adding three cups the icing tasted a little too sweet for me. I added 2 tbsp more milk and about an oz of cream cheese, just my personal preference. It turned out great. I used it for David's yellow cake (from this site) and colored some for piping. Delicious and versatile, thank you!

David's Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
I made this today for my MIL's birthday. I've never made yellow cake from scratch and this tasted wonderful. User error though, I overbeat the batter toward the end (unintentionally) and the finished product was somewhat dense. Definitely my error. DH and MIL loved the cake though! I will be making again and will watch my beaters more carefully ;) Thank you!

Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
I had high hopes for these because of all the rave reviews. I made a batch for breakfast and was planning on freezing the rest but they were SO extremely dry that I ended up tossing them. I will not be making these again. Sorry.

Jim's Cheddar Onion Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
There is a reason for all the rave reviews. This bread was fantastic! I made it for St. Patty's with our corned beef and cabbage dinner, but this will be made throughout the year for sure. Thank you Keri and Jim for sharing this wonderful recipe!

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
This was my first time making corned beef this way, and it was our first time eating this way also. I was in a rush so didn't have time to "play" with the recipe, just followed the recipe exactly as stated. I cooked 10 hours on low, and added the cabbage a 1/2 hour before serving. Everyone loved it! The meat was SO tender and delicious. I found the potatoes and carrots to be a little bland, but nothing that a few extra spices couldn't fix. Will definitely make this again, thank you!

Absolutely Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Incredibly easy and delcious. I cooked for 30 minutes and followed the recipe to a "T". Not the absolute best but definitely up there. And being just as easy, or maybe even easier than using a box, these deserve five stars. Thank you!

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
Simple, easy and very good. I cooked on low for 8 hours and shredded the chicken right in the slow cooker and served over white rice with glazed carrots. I only used three chicken breasts and it was just enough sauce. I will definitely double the sauce next time. Thanks for sharing!

Crawfish Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
This was so easy and delicious. I made several changes due to the ingredients I had on hand. I only used one lb of crawfish because they are so expensive around here and only used one stick of butter total and leeks instead of green onions. I added some Old Bay, garlic powder and white pepper and threw in some frozen hashbrowns to make up for the missing crawfish. This was excellent and I will most definitely be making this again! Thank you for sharing!

Toasted Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2011
We really enjoyed this! I made it with World's Best Lasagna from this site and it went great with it! I added some grated parmesan cheese to the butter mixture and added some seasoning salt and white pepper instead of regular S&P. Excellent, thank you for sharing!

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Oh wow, these are fantastic! I followed th recipe exactly and they are amazing. No need for any changes. I used a little over 1 1/2 large Granny smith apples and that was plenty (about two cups). The topping is very sweet so you don't have to go too heavy on it. Just as good, and maybe even better, the next day. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
This was so good! I cooked the peppers and onions on the side as others suggested, and added minced garlic and pimientos. I took the "skin" off the kielbasa before adding to the pan and melted american cheese over the whole thing at the end, it really made it a great comfort food dish! This was so fantastic and easy, thank you for sharing!
