Chicken Nuggets

Simply amazing. I will absolutely make these again. I used panko bread crumbs in place of ordinary ones. I was tempted to add some garlic, but decided to follow the recipe and am so glad I did. These were really good. To try and reduce fat I may substitute olive oil in place of the butter next time, but otherwise will leave as is.

Creamy Chicken on Linguine

The sauce for this recipe was amazing! I didn't change a thing. I think the next time I make this I will add some kind of vegetables like broccoli and mushrooms or maybe red peppers. The sauce was quite thin so I would probably also make a roux to help thicken things up a bit. Flavor wise this recipe is great!

Restaurant quality. This recipe is awesome made as recipe states. The only recommendation I would have is to make it lighter by using half & half in place of the heavy cream. My kids both loved this too and they are super picky.

Holy Moly are these good! I followed the recipe as written. These taste similar to a peanut butter cup. Just be aware that they are very rich so small portion sizes are a must.

This was very good! I followed the recipe exactly as written. I loved the addition of the garlic. I used jalapenos from my Dad's garden and they were not hot at all. I may use more next time to try and increase the heat. I used this with just chips and on tostadas.

Blueberry Sauce

This was excellent. I made it to over a homemade cheesecake, but I think it would go great over pancakes or crepes as well. The flavors of the cinnamon and orange juice were very noticeable so I may reduce them slightly next time. Even as is the sauce was delicious.

This was good. I followed the recipe exactly except that I did add a bit of vanilla extract. The bake time was off. I ended up baking it for about two hours. It was creamy and good, but not overly sweet.

Special Buttercream Frosting

I didn't care for this. I definitely tasted the shortening and did not like the texture in my mouth. The next time I made a buttercream frosting I opted for actual butter. It was so much better.

Fudge Brownies I

I don't typically make changes to a recipe the first time I make it, but after reading the first two reviews I decided to take their advice. I used 6 oz of chocolate and 2 eggs as well as baked them in a 8" square pan. With those changes these are absolutely the best brownies I've ever had. I've made this recipe twice and both times these were awesome! The first time I made these I thought they were a bit greasy though, so the second time I reduced the butter to 1 1/2 sticks as well as reduced the sugar by 1/2 cup. They were still great. My one piece of advice would be to not trust the toothpick test. I tested the brownies after 45 min, 50 min and 55 min and each time the toothpick came out dirty. I finally pulled them out of the oven after 55 min and while they still tasted yummy they did over bake. Next time I will stick t the 45 min rule and pull them out regardless of how clean/dirty the toothpick is.

Overnight Coffee Cake

My family enjoyed this although I think either the baking time or temperature may be off. I baked at 350 for 40 min and the cake came out slightly overbaked. I may try 35 minutes next time. I did change the topping a bit to a streusel with the butter, cinnamon and brown sugar instead of the nut mixture.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Fabulous chicken recipe! The only minor change I made was to sprinkle shredded parmesan on top of the chicken prior to baking versus adding grated parmesan to the bread crumb mix. i also used panko instead regular bread crumbs. Really good recipe and I will for sure make again.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Really good! I am not a fan of chocolate cake, but my husband is. For his birthday I made this for him and topped it with cream cheese frosting. It turned out wonderful. I even liked! I will definitely keep this recipe on file for future cakes.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

I made this during the holidays and the flavor is amazing! It doesn't taste like what you buy from the grocery store, but it is awesome. I highly recommend making egg nog homemade. You won't regret it.

Fish Chowder

This was good. We all liked it. It reminded me a lot of clam chowder, but with a slightly different fish flavor. I would make this again for sure. Definitely a hardy meal that warms the belly on a cold night.
