Lemon Chicken Tenders

The mixture of flavors in this dish are just weird. I didn't enjoy it at all. Luckily I only did half the pan with the curry mixture. The other half I melted some butter and mixed it with lemon juice and drizzled that over the chicken. The result was much much tastier then the lemon, sugar, curry sauce.

Carne Asada Tacos

This recipe is awesome!!! I did make some changes, but I don't think it altered the flavor much. I used canned jalapenos instead of fresh. We grilled the steak instead of frying it. Lastly, when I prepared my serving I lightly fried the corn tortilla in vegetable oil, added the filling (steak, onion, mozarella), and then topped it with a 2nd tortilla kind of like a quesadilla. I poured the tomatillo sauce over it. It was absolutely divine. My husband prepared his just like a taco and he enjoyed his a lot as well. Highly recommend this recipe!

Ranch Dressing II

This is pretty good. It definitely needed to sit for a while though. I tried it about 15 minutes after making it and could really taste the mayonnaise, but the next day when I tried it again it was really yummy.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

After reading some reviews I decided to try this frosting out. It didn't sound very good by reading the ingredients, but it turned out great. I used it on the "Best Rolled Sugar Cookies" recipe from this site. By far these are the best sugar cookies I've ever tasted.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

These are fabulous! I don't typically care for sugar cookies, but it is almost Halloween and I thought my 4 year old would enjoy helping me make some cookies. I found this recipe and gave it a shot. Well worth the time it took to make. They stayed soft and have an unbelievable flavor. This recipe is a keeper! *On a side not - I used the "Sugar Cookie Frosting" recipe from this site to top the cookies with. Yum!

Waffles I

The first time I made this recipe I accidentally left out the baking powder and the waffles really didn't turn out very well. I tried it again and did the recipe exactly as stated and they turned out great. I may add cinnamon to them the next time.

David's Yellow Cake

The flavor of this cake was good and it was moist, but I had a really difficult time getting it to keep its form when I stacked the layers on top of each other. Maybe I did something wrong? I don't know... It was good though.

I liked the sauce on this, but no one else in my family did. I probably won't make it again, but if I did I would not put all the mustard on the pork like the recipe calls for.

Uglies

I didn't follow the recipe, but instead took advice from others reviewers. I used the biscuits as stated in a muffin pan, but browned the ground beef in taco seasoning and topped with cheddar jack cheese. They turned out pretty good with some sour cream on top. I would rate the taco version a 4 star recipe because of the ease and quickness. I just wanted to let others know about this as an option.

Swiss Sherry Chicken

This was really really good. My husband hates cream soups so I wasn't sure that he would like it, but after we were done eating tonight he said this recipe is definitely a keeper. The only change I made was to crush up the croutons. Next time I will probably use less of the mushroom soup since we had a ton of sauce leftover.

Lemon Burst Cupcakes

These turned out great, but I didn't feel like this was much of a recipe. The only real change from buying the box of cake mix and following the instructions on the back is that you infuse them with lemon curd. The flavor was really good.

Chicken and Sausage with Bowties

This dish is really good! The one change I will make next time is to use regular sausage instead of turkey sausage, but that is mainly because my husband doesn't care for the turkey sausage. My 4 year old ate it up. Beware that it does make a huge amount of food. We had a ton of leftovers.
