Applesauce Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
I have been making this one for years and it has been rated the best by family & friends alike. It is also good to use as a sauce to dip your meat in. Best with homemade unsweetened apple sauce.

Home Made Chicken Noodle Soup!

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
I tried one similar to this one in a crock pot but the parsnips made the soup taste sour. Never make this one in a crock pot. My grandmother used to do a similar one using beef soup bones and we skimmed off the scum as it cooked. She always made homemade noodles.

Cut beef into small serving size portions, dip in flour seasoned with salt & pepper and pound with the back of a knife or tenderizer, Brown both sides in oil in heated pan. Add thick onion slices, carrots cut in half lengthwise and crosswise, cover with tomatoes and simmer for 2 - 3 hrs. Delicious.

Sylvia's Easy Greek Salad

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
I use whole grape tomatoes, sliced black olives and bottle Greek Feta & Oregano dressing by Kraft along with cucumbers and crumbled or shaved Feta cheese. Leave out green peppers but use red, yellow, orange and red. Can also substitute red onion for diced white.

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
I've made this one by mixing chopped onion, green relish, mustard, ketchup and cheese and it was always a hit even for those that don't normally put some of the ingredients on their burgers. Very moist and pleasing to look at.

Spicy Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2012
I would use 4 cups canned diced tomatoes with the juice and replace the green peppers with red, orange or yellow as green can cause acid reflux with some people. Pour hot salsa into hot sterilzed jars and screw down tight, will keep up to six months or more if it lasts that long. The heat from the jalapeno pepper depends on how any seeds you leave in them that's where the heat comes from.

Pesto Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
I use Basil Pesto and add some shredded or grated parmeson cheese to the mixture, then add some Origianal Classico Alfredo sauce and use Penne noodles (any type of pasta is good). No tomatoes or red pepper flakes. This is a hit with my family, a six quart dutch oven is devoured by 4 people at one sitting.

Rhubarb Steak Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
This is absolutely fantastic. So good tasting on pork chops. I put some on the chops after they were browned on both sides and let them simmer in the pan for ten or fifiteen minutes turning over once. To die for, better than any sauce or barbecue sauce I have tasted.
