Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
Yum! We love deviled eggs. We did add a little more mayo because we like them a little more creamy. Also subbed dijon for prepared mustard. Will make again. Thanks. Maybe with a little less sugar next time as they were almost too sweet for our tastes. But still very good.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
Loved this recipe. We did not think this was too bland at all. However, we added a clove of minced garlic to the green onions. Other than that followed the recipe. Will make again though using fresh spinach I think would be better for us. Just not too fond of the texture of frozen. That aside, we loved the flavor.

Zesty Barbeque Marinade

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
This was an interesting combination of flavors. We liked it but didn't love it. Maybe too much curry for our tastes. Aside from that it was still good. Will try again with maybe half the curry. Thanks for the recipe.

Thousand Island Dressing II

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
For such a simple recipe this was very good. We were making Ruebens and realized we didn't have dressing. Whipped this up in about a minute. Will use again. Especially since we don't use Thousand Island dressing on anything else but Ruebens - we can scale it down to a small amount just for those. Thanks.

Korean BBQ Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
We enjoyed this chicken. I cut the recipe down to 12 servings for just two chicken breasts. The only change I made was to cut down the water by a couple of TBS. and add a splash of dry sherry. It was very good. A little sweet but good. Next time I may cut sugar a tiny bit. The chili paste really gave it a nice kick. Thanks for the recipe.

Tomato and Mozzarella Bites

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
Everyone loved these! The key is the fresh mozzerella balls so creamy and soft. Yum! Easy to prepare and serve also you don't have worry about presentation because they are pretty on their own. I did not serve the dipping sauce. Instead drizzled a little over them right before serving. Will make again and again! Thanks for such an easy and great recipe.

Shredded French Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
Very good! I've never had french dip before so I have nothing to compare it to. I used a two pound roast just because I didn't want leftovers for a week. Also used a leaner cut of meat than called for. Other than that followed directions. Probably left it in slow cooker for 8 hours. the meat shredded great. The first time we had it we served it plain on the rolls. When we had it for leftovers, we added sauted mushrooms and cheese and made garlic bread ro serve it on. Oh yum! Will make the beef as written and serve with these changes. Loved the beef and sauce! Thanks for this great and super easy recipe.

Roasted Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
Very good bread! We have made it twice now. The first time exactly as written and we had the same problem many reviewers had with the butter not melting into the bread also, it was a little salty with the parm (used parm-regg). The second time I melted the butter before mixing with the garlic and omitted the parm and sprinkled mozzeralla cheese over the top and baked it at 400 till cheese was nice and melted instead of broiling. This time the butter was more absorbed by the bread and it was wonderful! The second time I really mashed up the garlic which I think helped too.

Ten Clove Garlic Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
Used this on chicken. It was really good! I used Heinz57 instead of regular steak sauce just because it says for chicken pork and steak on the bottle. I'm sure it would be good with A1 too. Thanks for the recipe.

Mustard Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
This was pretty good. After tasting I added a little more honey. Also, thought the oil was too much for us. Will make again with less oil and a little extra honey.

Asian Beef Skewers

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
These were amazingly good! So full of flavor. My flank steak was only a pound rather than a pound and a half so the amount of marinade was perfect. We let it marinade about 8 and 1/2 hours and there was plenty of flavor. I did as another reviewer suggested and put the steak in the freezer for about 1/2 hour which made it easier to cut. Makes a lot of little skewers. Perfect for a barbeque serving finger food. I will make these again, a lot. Thanks so much for the recipe it was wonderful and so simple to whip up.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
Something went terribly wrong with this recipe for us. I don't know if it was the blue cheese dressing I used (Lite House) but it was a pool of grease. Didn't even taste good. Not sure if the dressing melted or maybe was a mayo base but it just didn't work for us. I usualy love that dressing. Oh well back to plain old buffalo wings and blue cheese dipping. Maybe we will try again with a different brand of dressing because I like the concept of this recipe.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
I really didn't care for this. I think the sugar was why I didn't really like it too much. I was looking for a more salty dish and it was just too sweet for me. My fiance thought it was good so I might make it again without the sugar.

The taste of this dish was really good but I didn't like the texture of the noodles after being cooked in the sauce. I picked them out and then boiled some rotini and added that to the great sauce. Liked the texture much better that way. Will make again with that change. Thanks for the recipe. Our little guy loved it.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
Used the actual quiche part. Fat free milk, reduced fat cream cheese and egg sub.. Used fresh spinach instead of frozen, used 1/2 grated carrot and half mushrooms. Very good quiche for so low fat. Thanks so much for the recipe. I'll use the quiche part a lot and just experiment with different fillings.

Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
This was pretty good and healthy chicken. Next time I will add a touch of lemon juice for a little more flavor. Other than that this is a good quick and easy recipe. Used boneless breast instead of bone-in. Thanks will make again and try on the grill this summer.

Grilled Broccoli

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
OMG! Didn't know broccoli could be sooo good! The combo of lemon and parm was just amazing. The only change I made was to cook it in the oven at 400 degrees for 17 min. as a previous reviewer did. Oh yum! It came out perfect! This recipe is so easy and quick to put together. Can't wait to have it on the grill this summer. Thank you so much for the recipe!
