Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2004
Truly melt in your mouth. For ease, I pressed a double recipe into a jellyroll pan lined with plastic wrap, then inverted it onto a cutting board and cut the dough into small rectangles. Plopped the cookies on the cookie sheets. I cut them rather small so I baked them for only 10 minutes. Delicious!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2004
AWESOME! Frozen raspberries worked fine since I could not find fresh ones. Also, when making the cinnamon chips, spray with butter flavored Pam and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar BEFORE you slice them into wedges. MUCH EASIER

Banana Coconut Loaf

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2004
This is a very pretty and flavorful banana bread. I have discovered that it is a "love it or hate it" recipe. I love it, my sons love it, my daughter and husband HATE IT. I have had to cook the bread longer than called for every time I made it, so you might want to try that.

Good starting point, but I added a lot more seasoning and dredged cakes in seasoned flour. They were great then!

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2004
Awesome! I added quite a bit more zucchini than the recipe called for and cut the sugar in the topping down to 1 cup. I also substituted 2 cups of oats for 2 cups of flour and used whole wheat pastry flour for the rest to give it more fiber.

Home-Style Country Sausage

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2004
Excellent! I made a triple recipe. Fried them up and have them in the freezer for a quick breakfast. (Just pop one right from the freezer into the microwave for 2 min.) Also, if a few specks of green or red don't bother you, don't bother to peel the apples. I using the tubes of ground turkey, you might need to add an egg for a better consistency.

Mandarin Almond Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2002
Fantastic however if you are not going use the salad up at one sitting, do not pour the dressing on the whole salad. Rather, put it on the individual servings.
