Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
I followed the instructions to a T- and I love salmon. This was like a salt lick. I ate it, but was sorry.

Best BBQ Shrimp Ever

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
We thought this was really good. Not excellent- partly because the shrimp didn't really have time to soak up the marinade. I think this is a very good base for people (like me) who like to experiment with sublte changes.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
The missing thing that people mention is spice, specifically salt. The potatos soak up all the seasoning, and leave the broth 'limp' I fixed it by throwing in 3 beef bullion cubes in the last half hour.

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
Followed directions to the letter. Bland, undercooked and totally unedible.

Easy Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
Awesome! I like that it bake for so long, because I made baked potatos with it.

Lemon Thyme Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
I liked this a lot, even though I am not usually a thyme fan. I used less than the recipe calls for, to tell the truth. The garlic stole the show, which was fine with me! Thanks Brent! It was a great side dish for Baked Ceasar Shrimp.

Caesar Baked Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
Awesome! The second time I made this, I used Ken's Light Italian and added a can of diced tomatoes (no salt added) and it was great too! Be sure to have this with bread to mop up the delicious sauce! As a side dish, I mafe Lemon Thyme Rice from this site, and fresh green beans.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: May 30, 2010
I use this as the sauce for 'Greek pasta salad' I use feta, chopped purple onion and seeded cucumber to bulk it up. I have added grilled chicken, too, for a pot luck. Rave reviews!

Creole Mexican Catfish

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
I loved this, and would have given it 5 starts, but I think I would not have liked it if I had used all the cayenne. I used a scant bit, but added some Old Bay seasoning in its place. As I did it, it was spicy and had heat, but wasn't overpowering.

Didn't add the salt- my husband said it was a 10.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
Loved this- made it 'as is' and practically licked my plate. If you added more cheese it could be a grown up mac and cheese substitute.

Awesome Baked Sea Scallops

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
I thought the scallop's flavor got lost in all the garlic. I will use this topping with other things, though, like tilapia or some other bland fish.
