Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
Very good, very easy. I doubled the 'sauce' and that really wasn't necessary. But I was asked for the recipe from our guest when I made this dish. I will definitely be making this again. A good dish for company, because I prepped everything, chicken and sauce separately, in the morning, then just put sauce on and popped it in the oven to bake at dinnertime. I served it with plain white rice with cooked broccoli mixed into the rice. Thanks for this recipe.

Chinese Style Sesame Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
I can't believe how good this sauce is! I just made it, ahead of time for dinner, and I can't wait until my family gets to eat it. I didn't have chili paste or fresh garlic, so I subbed with 1 tsp. sriracha sauce and 1/4 tsp. of garlic powder. If you like Chinese food, you have to try this!

This is one of those dishes that when you put the first bite in your mouth, you have a moment of - oohhhhhh...mmmmmm, what is this heavenly stuff? It is absolutely delicious. So glad you posted the recipe, Bellepepper!

Lazy Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
I am giving this five stars because I'm sure people who like this style of mac and cheese would love it. It was very good and was enjoyed, however we prefer a creamier type mac and cheese.

Excellent! Easy and delicious. Made with ingredients you usually have in your kitchen. Tastes like what you might have in a restaurant.

Reuben Sandwich II

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
Absolutely delicious! I could eat one of these every day. As good as what I get at my local restaurant. I honestly can't believe I made a reuben that turned out so great. Thank you for posting this.

Round Steak and Gravy II

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
My guys were crazy about this. I served it with egg noodles. I made it in the slow cooker, but I will not do that next time. I took the meat out to thicken the gravy a bit, ended up having to transfer the gravy to another saucepan to accomplish what I wanted, and I ended up getting too many dishes dirty. Also, I will be a bit more meticulous in removing the fat. But the recipe was excellent and I am told that I must make it again.

Perfect Cheesecake Everytime

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
I'm shocked. I actually made a cheesecake that did not crack or turn too brown, etc., etc. All I did was follow the directions and it is wonderful. No water bath or babying in any way. Thank you so much for this recipe.

Peasant Bread

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
I tried this bread recipe just for fun, but didn't have the proper bowls to bake it in. I used two 9" cake pans instead. The bread turned out beautifully, but not very high because of the pans I used. I decided to cut the whole thing in half through the middle, and make a huge sandwich with ham, salami, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, etc. I cut it into 4 pieces and my guys loved the big sandwich! The homebaked bread made it extra good. I will make this simple and versatile recipe again, definitely.

Freezer Cucumber Pickles

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
This recipe is really good and fun to make! It really works great. I had about 1 lb. of pickling cucumbers left over from "real" canning, and didn't want to go through the whole canning scenario with them. I found this recipe, adjusted the servings to how many cucumbers I had, and WOW. I made this and put it in the freezer on Sunday. I took them out of the freezer and put into the refrigerator on Tuesday. We ate them today. Everyone loved them! They're real, delicious pickles along the lines of bread and butter pickles. Very good and will make again for sure.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
This, indeed, is a fantastic cake. It is really THE perfect cake, since it is easy, one-bowl and delicious. However, as another recent reviewer said, it is the Hershey's cocoa recipe that is on the can, and has been used for generations! My mother, who would be 102 yrs old by now, made this when I was a child! Try it with white icing for a delicious change; that's the way she always made it.

Cinnamon Mini-Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
Well, these were delicious little gems waiting to be discovered! I like to take a little something when I visit my grandchildren, and the 3 yr. old likes "baby" sized things, so I found these and made them. They turned out beautifully, and I liked that I didn't have to frost them. I also have a feeling these are the type of muffins that get better after a day. Thanks for this easy, quick and delicious recipe. I will make these often.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
Excellent and easy. I thought the fried onions would be visible with the meat, but they blended right in. Very rich in flavor, held together well, and everyone really liked it. I baked it in a free form loaf in a shallow pan and put a bit of ketchup/mustard/brown sugar mixture on top before baking. Served with roasted potatoes, parsnips, carrots and onions.

Baked Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Excellent. I followed previous reviewers' suggestions and used the honey corn bread mix and 1/2 cup butter. Also, since there are only 3 of us now, I baked it in two 8x8 pans (35 minutes) instead of the 9x13 so I could freeze half of it more easily. I will definitely make this again.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
My husband said he had to make himself stop eating this. I have to say I was surprised how nicely flavored this dish was with such simple ingredients that most people have in their pantry. I certainly will be making this again.

Asian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2014
Family loved this. I usually use another recipe for pork tenderloin that uses a dry rub, but tried this, and everyone loved it. I used 2 One-pound tenderloins from Costco, and cooked it at 325 for an hour. Was very moist, tender and delicious. Pretty easy, too. I mixed the marinade and marinated all in a gallon zip plastic bag to cut down on washing up.

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
I can't speak for how these taste to the dogs, but mine ate one happily. I had a great time making these with my 3 yr. old granddaughter! They are not messy, and very easy to make. It makes plenty, so I sent her home with half for her doggies to enjoy & she can show daddy what she made. We made little 'peanut butter cookie' ones with the criss-cross design. Very fun, very easy! Thank you for a nice recipe.

Caramel Macchiato Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
Not only delicious, but a beautiful, rich color to go along with the rich flavor of this bread. A wonderful change from regular banana bread. Very easy to put together. Mine baked exactly for 60 minutes to doneness. Thank you, Dianne, for creating this unique and delicious recipe.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
Excellent! I followed the recipe exactly, and they were delicious! I baked them as directed, but I think I might add a few minutes next time, along with a bit more breadcrumbs. I just devoured one and it was fantastic. I will probably keep one out for dinner for me since DH will not be here, and I will try freezing the rest. First time I made veggie burgers, and the ingredients were so simple! Love it, thank you so much.
