The taste of this cake was very good, however I wish I would have read more reviews before making it this first time. As others have said, the 30 minutes was not long enough to bake it. I trusted the recipe and didn't know what it was supposed to look like when 'done', so I took it out after 30 mins. Big mistake. After 10 minutes cooling and turning it out on a rack, it was obvious it was not done in the middle at all. I put it back in the pan and oven at 325 for 20 minutes, but that didn't really help much. Since it wasn't really done when I took it out of the pan, part of it stuck. I will make this again, because the taste & ease of making it was great, but I will either modify the time, temp or both to higher and longer. I gave it 4 stars because I think the instructions are defective, and they should say to bake it 30 to 40 minutes and give some sort of test for doneness, such as a clean toothpick.
