Double Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2014
Talk about chocolate overload! The hint of hazelnut from the extract is fabulous. This is a great cookie. Be sure to have it with a big glass of milk! Also, do let the cookies cool all the way. I tried to spread one while it was warm and it fell apart.

Chocolate Mint Crinkle Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2014
These cookies are great! They have a nice cake-like consistency and a beautiful minty flavor. Chocolate and mint are my favorite combo, so this is a cookie I think I'll be making more often now.

Crispy Chipotle Roasted Smashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2014
I had some fingerling potatoes in my fridge that I didn't know what to do with. I saw this recipe and checked for canned chipotles in adobo sauce and bingo! I made this for a spicy breakfast and it doesn't disappoint! This was an easy recipe, too. I'll be making these again and again. I'll probably change it up and add some different spices too, just to keep things interesting. Thanks Mazola!

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2014
This is the perfect dinner for the fall. This casserole is warm and comforting. I tweaked it a little by using Johnsonville sausage, which made this one tasty pie! I think it had a bit of a bangers-and-mash feel to it with the sausage. I love pub food, so this couldn't have been better!

Sausage and Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2014
I had this for lunch, and it was great. The weather is finally turning into the perfect weather for soup. The Johnsonville sausage really made this soup exceptional. I'm glad I have enough of this for lunch tomorrow!

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2014
This was great. I followed other reviewers tips and sauted the onions and mushrooms. I also substituted Johnsonville sausage in for the beef. It was fantastic. My little sister, who hates everything I cook generally, asked for seconds! She said it was "good," which from her is a huge compliment :-). I also had a huge Costco-sized thing of cheese tortellini, so I served the stroganoff over that.

Italian Sausage Deep Dish Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2014
I too prebaked the crust. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. I used the hot sausage and sliced it because that's how I like my sausage on my pizza. This was a great dinner and everyone was full and satisfied. Thanks for the recipe!

This was a hearty breakfast. I used sausage I had in the fridge already and added green peppers and onions, because I love red and green peppers and onions with my eggs and sausage.

I followed the cooking tips and drained 1 can of beans so I could have a nice thick chicken chili to stick on top of some tortillas. This was a great, warm, comforting meal!

Easy Breakfast Nachos

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2014
These are as advertised: easy. I used soyrizo to make this a vegetarian breakfast-for lunch. I topped it off with a lot of hot sauce and sour cream. I'd make it again.

This is a great comfort dish. I love cheese so I sprinkled some on top of the breadcrumbs, making it extra cheesy. Everything about this dish is tasty - I have no complaints and I'll be making this again.

Thin Spaghetti with Garlic, Red Pepper and Olive Oil

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2014
This was a fast, easy, and delicious recipe! I love how filling it is because of the Barilla Plus pasta. I'd scale this recipe down for a fast lunch for myself or double it to feed a crowd. You really can't go wrong with this dish as long as you like a little bit of heat.

Cinnamon Vanilla Granola

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2014
This was easy, versatile, and tasty. I had a bunch of dried berries and sliced almonds, so that's what I used and it turned out great. I used this to top some Greek yogurt with honey and it was a great snack! I'd make this again, and often.

Corn and Black Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2014
This made for a tasty salad. I used fresh corn, low-sodium (and rinsed) black beans, and raw organic honey instead of sugar. I also added some finely diced shallots and fresh tomatoes from my garden. I plan on making this again.

These are great. I skipped the fresh basil and used shallots to add extra garlic/onion flavor to these. The tomatoes are the perfect for a veggie sandwich!
