About this Cook
I love spending time with my family & friends, cooking and allowing everyone to enjoy good food and drink. I love photography, reading, working out, running, and the beach. I cherish the time spent with my amazing & intelligent 7 year old son. I also enjoy taking care of my little yorkie Jay Jay. More things I LOVE:capturing the beautiful beach images & watching the sunset over the water; to travel-when I get a chance; discovering great new restaurants and trying new things; watching the Food Network & ESPN, my music, and my apple products. Things I wish I could do: travel more; cook everyday; sing; own & operate a bake shop...one day. I just don't have the time right now. Family and my friends are the most important thing to me. God has blessed me in so many ways. . I love life :)
My favorite things to cook
Steaks, shrimp, anything marinated in beer/wine/rum or tequila, cookies, brownies, cakes, peach cobbler, pancakes, s’mores, chili, carne asada, tacos, guacamole, salsas, plantains, lasagna, pastas, Egyptian, Mexican, American, Greek, Italian, Cajun
My favorite family cooking traditions
Egyptian - stuffed grapes leaves, basboosa (dessert), macarona bashmel (pasta dish); Christmas Day lasagna; Thanksgiving Day pancakes, New Year's Day HUGE breakfasts/brunch
My cooking triumphs
Steaks, steaks, steaks! Carne asada: tequila, fresh lime & lemon juice, cilantro, habnero, red onions, garlic. Five Cheese Macaroni & Cheese; banana pudding, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin ginger cupcakes, chocolate cake
My cooking tragedies
I made chili once and forgot the tomato paste! I turned it into a tortilla soup!

World's Fastest Meatballs
This recipe was so easy! I watched the video at work on Monday and decided this is what we were having for dinner. They were so easy to prepare my 6 year old prepared the bread crumbs and egg mixture! It was very flavorful and took less than 15 minutes to prepare everything. Before I knew it, I was pulling out the meatballs from the oven. Delicious! Thanks Chef John!
