Not a fan of the seasoning, but the method and ease of clean-up was great!

Very flavorful. For personal taste, I did omit the cinnamon.

Beefy Bloody Caesar

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
I get the idea of wanting the beef flavor, but the bouillon powder does not dissolve in cold liquid, so you have unattractive powder floating on top. Either heat a bit of water and dissolve the powder or use some beef broth.

Cheesy Oven Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: May 31, 2014
Easy peasy...and cheesy! Quick dish for a crowd, also good for just two if you've got a lot going on the stovetop. Great dish to add extras (ham, onion, mushrooms, etc.)

Simple dish, great for weeknight supper. I added 3 cloves of garlic and 2 shallots to the bacon mixture for an added boost of flavor.

Crispy Ketchup-Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2014
Nothing about this dish worked. The ketchup-mustard blend didn't work well with chocolate covered rice krispies. Just the wrong flavor combinations.

Candied Baked Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2014
Other than adding sugar products, there was nothing else to make this a great baked bean dish. I made recipe as written and followed the directions. The marshmallows probably should have been added at the end and broiled for a bit. As written, they completely melted into a puddle on top of the beans.

Yum! Added more bacon; also instead of oat flour, I used regular oatmeal and soaked it in the liquid ingredients for awhile.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2013
Excellent using another reviewer's suggestion. Did not use the onion soup mix, but added salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and poultry seasoning. Also added a chopped onion and stalk of celery. Very moist!

Risotto with Asparagus and Bison Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
I used the Arborio rice. The method used in the recipe is not the general method used when preparing risotto, and long grain rice is not typically used either. I did add broth slowly to the rice mixture and it came out well.

Absolutely a 5-star in this house. The shrimp marinade was very flavorful. Simple steak seasoning on the filets. I added a bit of hickory seasoning to the steaks. Served with grilled garlic bread. Yum!

Cheesy Chicken and Yellow Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2013
Flavorful, but needed some tweaking. I sliced a sautéed chicken breast and served on top of the rice. Rice mixture is salty. Contains MSG and Yellow Dye No. 5.

Simple, but satisfying. I did reduce the amount of Herdez sauce to reduce the heat a bit.

HERDEZ® Creamy Tomatillo Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2013
This salsa can be used for so many things. Great with tortilla chips, dipping sauce for quesadillas, drizzle on grilled shrimp or drizzle a little on some fresh cut tomatoes. I did cut the amount of Herdez sauce in half.

I used mostaccioli instead of noodles and mixed together with the sauce. I added Italian seasonings and garlic to the tomato sauce. Subbed Johnsonville Italian sausage for the hamburger. Yum!
