Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
Amazingly good, in my opinion. I make it as is, except that I either use a rotisserie chicken or I roast my own chicken breasts and shred them. I usually only use blue cheese, but sometimes I use both cheeses. My favorite dipper is celery, but others prefer tortilla chips. And Frank's Hot Sauce is WONDERFUL...

Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
I made this exactly as the recipe stated. It didn't look *anything* like the photo when it was finished and the taste was incredibly bland, althouhh it was very tender. Don't think I'll be making this again.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
I would give this recipe ten stars if I could! WOW...so wonderful. I love all things "buffalo," and this certainly filled the bill. I made it exactly as written and could probably eat it every single day. It's so deceptively simple I wonder why I didn't think of it myself! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
This was really good. I am giving it five stars but I did make one change. I didn't have onion soup mix, but had ranch dressing mix and used 1/2 a packet of that instead. Everything else was exactly to the recipe...the cheese was good and something I'd never tried in a meatloaf before. Next time I'll have some soup mix on hand, and I'm sure it will be wonderful too. Thank you for sharing a great recipe.

Bacon N Egg Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
I changed this up a lot, but wanted to leave a review to say thank you for posting it...I was intrigued with the idea, so I used it as a "base" recipe and used crumbled cooked sausage and omitted the hash browns. After it was cooked, I made a cream gravy to dollop on top. Very good and more suited to our tastes. But again, THANK YOU for a great idea!

Pork Apple Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
My husband loved these...said they were great. I didn't taste apple at all and that was disappointing. I think I'd rather keep making beef or turkey burgers. I liked the idea, I just didn't feel there was anything unique about them. I made exactly as written, but it was so wet I had to add breadcrumbs be able to form patties. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Prize-Winning Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
Very, very good. Quite moist...I didn't let it rest long enough and it almost fell apart. Can't wait for leftover meatloaf sandwiches. Sometimes old classics are the best!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
Adding to the legions of AR cooks that love this crust. I've tried a lot and as soon as he took his first bite of this one, my husband said, "I think you've found the one." We had a sausage, mozzarella and basil pizza and a brie and fig pizza from the amount of crust this made. Crispy on the outside, chewy and flavorful on the inside. This is great! Thank you for sharing the recipe.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
I had to sub oyster sauce for the hoisin...I'd mistaken the bottle in the fridge and it was all I had. These are good...I made some with chicken and some with the beef as per the recipe. It wasn't the best EVER and lettuce wraps are just so messy, but everyone ate them. My husband put cashews on his and really like that!

This was just a *bit* bland, but still very good and soothing, just like egg drop soup should be! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Shrimp Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
This started off great, but when I added the eggs/soy/etc., the texture became extremely gummy. I've never added the egg to fried rice that late in the recipe and I think that was the problem. The flavor was great, but I don't think I'll use this recipe again as written.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
The dressing for this is fabulous. It made *way* too much for the amount of greens, though. I made as is and after it sat for about 15 minutes, it was too wet. *BUT* it's delicious and I'll definitely be making it again and again, just with a little less dressing! I'll also cut the sugar in half. Thanks for a great recipe.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
This would be 10 stars if I could give 10! I did change a few things, but none of them were things that would affect the overall taste of the original recipe. I omitted the bell pepper because we're not crazy about it, used leftover chicken that I'd roasted over the weekend and baked them at 450 for about 17 minutes. SO GOOD! They taste just like the ones we always enjoy at Chili's and are so much more quick to make than I'd have ever guessed. Thank you for a recipe we will have again and again.
