Antipasto Pasta Salad

This was very good, I omitted the olives and added skiced pepperoccinis (personal preference). I did not make the dressing, instead I used Kraft Parmesean Basil Vinagerette, it was very easy and tasted great!

Autumn Cheesecake

Very good, I did bake it in a water bath and took the advice of others and microwaved the apples a little to get some of the liquid out. My only complaint was that I had to cook it abot 30 minutes more than the recipe stated.

This was very good, I used anchovy paste instead of the fillets and omitted the olives at my husbands request. Next time I will add some chicken because my hubby couldn't believe there was no meat in the dish.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

This was easy, and that is the best thing about this recipe. I like others added potatoes, onions, carrots, and celery and I still felt like it was pretty blah. The chicken was extremely tender and was falling off the bones. If I made this again I would not just eat the chicken I would have to use the baked chicken in a different recipe that called for fully cooked chicken - just not enough flavor to eat as is.

Chicken Milano

Good as is, my 3 year old & my 1 year old enjoyed it. However, my husband and I found it a little lacking in flavor. I added parmesean cheese and a sprinkling of cayenne pepper and it really hit the spot. Next time I will add the parmesean to the cream sauce.

Glazed Fruit Bowl

This was amazing! I used strawberries, raspberries, blackberies, manadarin oragnes, pineapple, and white grapes. I was a little hesitant with the pudding mix but it turned out so yummy! I will definately be making this again.

Texas-Style Baked Beans

I have made this several times now and it is always a huge hit. Instead of ground beef I use about a 1/2 pound Jalapeno flavored sausage that I brown first in the skillet and about a 1/2 pound of bacon that I also precook just a little bit. I usually will just use a yellow onion because that is what I usually have on had. I found the key to this recipe is the BBQ sauce - you must use a good sauce, the beans depend on it, my husband and I really like Sweet Baby Rays.

Avocado Chicken Wraps

These were good. I cheated and used precooked and sliced chicken fajita meat and just diced it a little smaller. I used the salsa instead of BBQ sauce and I added black beans. Tasted really good but I had trouble keeping the rolls together - I squished them really close together on the plate so they held each other together until people started eating them and they all started to fall apart. I think I could have used more smashed avocado as a glue but I ran out.

Classic Texas Caviar

I tweaked this just a bit. Instead of 2 cans of black-eyed peas I used 1 can of black-eyed peas and 1 can of black beans (drained & rinsed). I substituted a can of Rotel tomatoes for the diced tomatoes and jalapenos and substituted red & green bell pepper for the yellow bell pepper. I used the exact amount of red wine vinager & oil called for and I found it to be a little on the vinagery side - you could probably cut back and still have great flavor.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

This was absolutely amazing! It tasted like a chocolate chip cheesecake. The only thing that I did different was I left off the pecans (only because I was serving it to picky eaters) and I rolled the cheeseball in crushed graham crakers and then decorated with leftover chocolate chips. I will definitely be making this again!
