Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
Amazing! This is my newest favorite chicken recipe. It tasted like something right out of a fancy resuraunt. I followed the recipe, only adding a little bit extra mushrooms, and one whole cup of chicken broth. This was delicious!!!! I will make it over and over again!

Maria's Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
This was great. I read most of the reviews and made a few changes based on them. We loved it. I added ground ginger, red pepper flakes, and some corstarch at the end when we added the veggies back to the dish. I sauteed the veggies in olive oil first until they were crisp so they wouldnt be over cooked. I then removed them and kept them warm in another dish. I then fryed the meat strips on olive oil until they were done and ONLY then added the juices such as soy sauce, honey, etc. to the meat. Once I added the juices I added the sautted veggies and some cornstarch back to the mixture and cooked it for about 5 or 10 mts until everything was hot. I served it over white rice and it was delicious. Definitly a keeper and easy to make.

Easy Baked Tilapia

THIS IS THE BEST FISH THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN/MADE. RESTUARANT QUALITY! Line pan w/ foil. Put fish on pan and sprinkle lightly w/ salt and pepper. Add frozen cali and brocolli around fish w/ salt and pepper. Melt butter (LOTS), add one whole lemon squeezed, lots of fresh garlic, old bay, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoning salt, parsley and pepper. Pour sauce over fish and veggies. Bake 20 mts. covered. Uncover the fish during the last 10 mts and add breadcrumbs w/ parm cheese over fish. Goes great w/ rice. Spoon sauce over rice. Yummy!

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
I used salmon steaks with this recipe. I substituted the garlic powder for about 4 cloves of chopped up garlic, used only 4 tablespoons of real lemon juice, used less dill, covered it with thin slices of lemon, and then covered the pan with aluminum foil. I let this cool for about 20 to 25 mts then removed the cover and broiled it for about 5 mts. Everyone (husband, and even the kids) loved this one. I think this may be my favorite recipe from this sight!!!

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
This was a very good recipe. I added just a little bit more brown sugar and butter and simmered it for a while, until the rest of the food was all ready. At the end I mashed it all up and it was deeeelicouse! Thanks for the recipe.

Family's Creamed Spinach

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
This recipe was fabulous! This was my first time making creamed spinach. I loved it. The changes I made were as follows: I added extra minced garlic, celery salt, half and half, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and parmesian cheese and only used half of the required butter. Dont worry about how much cheese you use, the more you have the better (and thicker) it will be. It tasted just like Boston Markets creamed spinach. I will be making this recipe for years to come.

Christmas Eve Beef Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2008
This recipe is fantastic and easy to make/follow. My children and husband ate it all up in one night. My ten year old son even said that it was "BANGING" lol. As suggested by other members I used the crockpot, doubled up on the seasoning, added two bay leafs, and used only half of the water. I usually do not follow recipes but did on this one and was very happily surprised. I've definitly found a beef stew recipe that I will follow and call my own from now on. Thanks everyone!

Maryland Crab Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
This soup was so good that this is my first time rating ANY recipe. It was the best. I took some of everyones advice...I added small diced potatos, canned diced tomatos, some zuchinni, and frozen veg's. Lots of old bay, used low sodium beef broth, and it was the easiest, greatest md crab soup. You can just throw in what ever you have handy around the house. Good Eatings!
