About this Cook
I like to eat and I tend to be a picky eater, therefor, I like to cook so I can be in control of what I eat. Thankfully, Mr. LTH eats everything and anything (except sweet potatoes and vinegar).
My favorite things to cook
I'm a very mood dependent cook: what I'm in the mood for dictates what I like to cook. I've found I really enjoy making new "faceless" recipes and adding a face to them.

I consider everything that comes out of our kitchen and people enjoy/eat to be a triumph...
My cooking tragedies
Underbaked cakes + wire racks + oven to "finish cooking" = a very messy oven

Easy Chicken or Beef Marinade
This is a nice general all purpose marinade. Easy to throw together and added some nice flavor to BLSL grilled chicken breasts with only a few hours of marinating. THANKS for the recipe!

Home Fries On The Grill
It was nice to grill our entire meal, but the bacon never got done (and I used thin bacon, for just this reason). The potatoes and onions were almost overdone when I waved the white flag for the bacon. Aside from the bacon issue (which may just be me), these flavors were just ok for me. I prefer roasted potatoes. THANKS for the recipe (and a cool kitchen ;) )!

Extra-Virgin Olive Oil Dipping Sauce
This was just ok for me. I had a hard time *finding* any of the seasonings and had to resort to pressing my bread into the plate, resulting in a super soaked bite (w/some flavor, though). I was also surprised to find it a bit salty, which is something I rarely if ever, say. This is a recipe to use your good EVOO for, for sure, as oil quality will make a marked difference. While it probably won't be a repeater at the LTH house, YOU should still give it a try for sure. THANKS for the recipe!
