About this Cook
Hello! My name is Lori C Sims. I am a proud mom of three little demons. lol Ok they are great when they want to be. I am married to Dusty Sims. We have been married since November 18, 2000. He is in the Army. Which makes our life pretty rough. By being a military family we have moved so many times, I do not even want to count. I have been a stay at home for several years now and I decided to become a Work at Home Mom. :) In fact, I currently represent BedroomSecretz.com
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I finally learned how to bake with yeast. Ok I got a confident boost, when my my neighbor in Germany helped me. :) Now I love baking even more.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We really do not have any traditions.
My cooking triumphs
I love making divinity. I made my first Carrot Cake with a recipe from Allrecipe. It was amazing. Will be making more. I learned to use yeast and bake more, :).
My cooking tragedies
I tend to forget about what I am baking and they get extra baked. I hate making cookies, I do not have patience to make individual cookies so after the 2 batch they tend to get larger, lol. Sometimes I will skip the cookie part and make bars instead.

Baked Pancakes with Sausages
I started homeschooling, and to get my children acquainted with cooking, we rotate one meal each day. I needed something easy and found this recipe. It was perfect, then I remembered it on Valentine’s Day and it was GREAT!! The kids loved it.
