Corn Dip II

This being corn season in the mid-west, and my access to "just picked this morning" corn, this is outstanding with fresh corn. I added 6 or seven ears of fresh corn that had been steamed the night before. I always run the back of my knife down each side of the cob after I cut off the kernels to get all the juicy bits and added that as well. I didn't have green onion, so I added a sprinkle of onion powder and added fresh chives instead. Had to rely on bottled lime juice, so I can imagine how great this is with fresh squeezed.

Asian Fire Meat

I enjoyed this meal, and very easy to prepare. I used the round steak, slicing it uber-thin (best to partially freeze before cutting, but you know that!). I didn't have leeks on hand, so just added more carrots and water chestnuts for the crunch. I also used sweet onions (again, pantry lacking red ones). Reminded me of a round steak recipe mom used to make! Keeper!
