Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
Found this one night when I wanted to make pizza but was pressed for time, and I'd never go back! I did find that for only one pizza the crust was a bit thicker than I'd like, so I divided it to make two crusts instead. Thanks!

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
Great simple recipe. Sauteed the mushrooms and onions in garlic butter first, and only sauteed half the mixture for texture. Other than that followed the recipe and it turned out great!

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2012
I love it! I'm new to making bread and have been looking for a good everyday recipe. This is it! My Cuisinart couldn't quite handle 3 loaves so I think I'll cut it down to 2 next time. Thanks!

Pig Burger

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
Great recipe, used regular buns as I didn't have focaccia, and used the bacon sliced instead of crumbled. Had some avocado I needed to use up so this was fabulous. Thanks!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
I made a couple substitutions, based on my preferences and what I had at hand, but these were absolutely fantastic! They were light and fluffy, and I think using the yogurt added a lot of moisture.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
Fabulous recipe! I took the advice of some others and doubled the sauce (adding some chopped onion), and baked it instead of using the skillet. I placed the apples on top of browned chops and poured the sauce over, then baked for 45 minutes at 350. The chops were SO tender! I will definitely make this again.

Irish Car Bomb I

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
As others have said, you need to add the Bailey's Irish Cream as well. Also, careful not to swallow the shot glass? Really? That would take some talent...

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
So I partially made this recipe...I didn't have baby back ribs, I had side ribs, which need slower, longer cooking to break down the connective tissues. But I made this BBQ sauce and used it, without cooking it down, in the slow cooker. First I boiled the ribs in water for 15 minutes, then cooked them for 6 1/2 hours on low in the slow cooker. The sauce was AMAZING, I'm going to cook down the leftovers and keep it in the fridge to use later. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Slow Cooker Spare Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
Hard to know how to rate this because I used a completely different sauce...but I used the boil/slow cooker method to cook the ribs and they were a-MAZ-ing...I could hardly get them out of the crock pot they were so tender. Would definitely make them this way again!

Fantastic dish! Next time I think I might try broiling it at the end to crisp up the bread crumbs. Thanks!

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
Great recipe, I had leftover sauce and saved it to use on chicken later in the week. I used only 1/3 of the mayo and used plain yogurt for the other 2/3 (cause that's a lot of mayo) and it was great!

Garlic Butter

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
I made it without reading any of the reviews, and I did find it a bit too salty...I would cut down the amount of garlic salt next time, maybe half garlic salt and half garlic powder. Great recipe though!

Even without the frosting, these are fantastic! We used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose, and they turned out great!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
This was fantastic, and so easy! Literally took me 5 minutes to put together in the morning before work. I couldn't find any French Onion soup, so I dumped in a package of onion soup mix and poured a soup can of water in instead. Also added the garlic salt, as suggested. Hubby loved it, I will definitely make this again!
