ABC Pudding - Avocado, Banana, Chocolate Delight

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2013
I was very surprised on how delicious this was. I am not vegan, nor am I particularly healthy, but I am trying to be a bit healthier and lose some baby weight I cannot seem to lose. This recipe was great. I did however feel it was missing something, so I added a splash or 2 of vanilla. I will be making this again for my family. Great consistency as well.

Strawberry Sauza®-Rita

Reviewed: May 7, 2013
Pretty good. We used strawberry puree like another user did instead of the liquor. I also like my margaritas ice cold, so I added in a frozen strawberry (they were fresh and I froze them myself) for a cute garnish.

Johnsonville® One-Pan Italian

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2013
I've been cooking for years, and spaghetti is my usual "I need something quick and easy for a weeknight because I'm exhausted" dish. I just HATE the clean up afterwards. I can smack myself now because this is genius! I mean, why haven't I thought of this years ago!? I seasoned the sauce to my liking, and the Italian sausage was a new twist! I usually just use ground beef, but the sausage adds more flavor (I used mild ground Italian from Johnsonville). My family loved it, and my toddler had seconds. I paired it with garlic cheese fries, because I did not feel like making garlic bread. YUM!! Only one dish too! What's not to love?!?!

Johnsonville® Italian Sausage and Pepper Skillet

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
This was absolutely delicious. I tossed mine with angel hair pasta. I think the fresh basil is the key. I love fresh basil, and it really gave it that extra kick of flavor. Yum!

Bowties with Italian Sausage in a Cream Basil Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2013
OMG this was delicious. I was out of bow tie pasta (which is weird because I always have it on hand), so I used shell pasta instead. I also forgot to put the cream, but it was extremely delicious without it. Probably a lot healthier too. The last thing I did different also was I added about 7 sweet peppers chopped up and omitted the pepper flakes. I wanted sweet and not spicy. The peppers added such a beautiful color and flavor. My husband ate 4 plates of this. He told me to make this recipe a staple.

Chicken with Chanterelle Mushrooms and Marsala Wine

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
This was a pretty good recipe. I found it to be slightly bland but not anything that could not be changed with a bit a seasoning. I think next time I will add more Marsala wine. I love the flavor of Marsala. I served this over angel hair pasta and with some home made garlic bread.

Crawfish Fettuccine

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
This was absolutely delicious! I couldn't find any jalapeno cheese, so I added a can of Rotel to Velveeta cheese instead. It came out so creamy and yummy!! This is definitely a keeper!!

Grands!® Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
This is absolutely the most delicious (and easiest) dessert recipe ever! I love that it just pulls apart for little hands. The only thing I did different was omit nuts and raisins. We don't eat either anyway. Yum!

Sopa de Fideos

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2013
This recipe tastes so authentic and delicious!! The only changes I made was to add a little more garlic, and instead of cans of chicken broth, I used just a tablespoon of powdered chicken bouillon. I also added salt to my blender before I pureed my tomato mixture. I would have never thought to use canned tomatoes!

Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
This was a pretty good quick and easy family dinner recipe. I used a deboned rotisserie chicken that I got at my local deli (I also think this adds a little more flavor), seasoned the mixture with garlic, onion, poultry herbs, and salt and pepper, and added some cooked macaroni to the mixture to make it go further. I wasn't sure my picky kids would eat it, but they did and liked it! Thanks!

Sweet and Salty Toll House® Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
I was pretty excited when I saw this recipe and thought how much I'd love it. I followed the recipe to the T, but they turned out good but not great. I think it was a little bit too much for this little cookie. Maybe next time I'll omit either the chips or the pretzels. Other than that they cooked perfectly.

Dark Chocolate Cherry Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
I found this recipe good, but it was missing something. Maybe it was that it was dark chocolate and not milk chocolate? Or maybe it was because they were tart cherries instead of sweet? Either way, I still recommend the recipe. I'll play around with it more next time to find out if I'm wrong or not.

Crescent Mummy Dogs

Great idea! Kids loved it for their Halloween party. Yummy too! I should add it is easier to use the sheets instead of the rolls. Just use a pizza cutter to slice it into strips.

Gooey Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
These were pretty good. I used graham crackers for half of the flour, used chunky peanut butter instead of the creamy, and omitted coconut for personal preference. I also doubled the peanut butter for more flavor and added marshmallows. Pretty yummy and extremely gooey. I even baked longer to make sure they were cooked all the way. Not bad.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
OMG these were so simple and so good!! I made the scrambled eggs in the microwave for ease as the recipe suggested, and I am surprised they came out so great and fluffy!! I've never done them in the microwave before! I used shredded mozzarella with mine and seasoned my eggs with Cajun seasoning. I also mixed my cooked bacon in with the eggs for ease. I flipped my crescent rolls 10 minutes in because the bottoms were already browning and I did not want them to burn. Mine did not come out pretty, but came out so tasty! I will make again, but next time with crumbled sausage in the eggs instead of bacon!
