Bison Pepperoni Macaroni

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2013
Delicious. First time trying bison. It gave this a very rich meaty tasty without the greasiness of regular pepperoni. Was tender and nicely spiced I used olive oil to make the roux, low and fat free cheese and skim milk. Also used whole wheat macaroni. Will make again..

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
Yummy dish.. the basil really gives it a nice and different flavor from most stir fries. Will add some red pepper flakes to leftovers tonight

Forgot to rate this - yummy soup I used hominy instead of corn and my grilled chicken was spicy so those spices made the soup taste great

Sloppy Joe with Ground Turkey

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2013
Really good.. easy. I added more red pepper flakes and S&P as I prefer a less sweet more spicy sloppy joe. Served it in a high fiber tortilla for lunch.. yum

Beer Batter Crepes II

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
I liked these. I served with a cheese, bacon and spinach filling. These would NOT be good with a sweet filling

Savory Southwestern Crepes

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2013
Wow.. these are delicious! I used homemade turkey sausage and a hollandaise mix and used skim milk and butter flavored powder in it. This isn't difficult. You could make the fillings ahead of time and then reheat is and make crepes fresh when you are ready to eat. I will make this again... for certain

Seafood Strata with Pesto

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2013
I liked this.. first bite I wasn't sure, but hen second bite it was good. I used skim milk, a little less cheese and no butter. The cheese was a little tart.. not a big fan of swiss anyway, so next time I think I might use Monterey Jack or another milder cheeese

Cuban-Style Pork and Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
This was quite good. I threw in some chopped red onion because I had some to use up. I think next time I'd use a few less sweet potatoes and add a bit of green veggie

Chicken Satay Steaks

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2013
As is.. not nearly enough marinade and the chicken didn't seem to pick up enough flavor... Double the marinade and then make some extra to use as sauce on the side. It was moist and easy to make

Healthy Creamy Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2013
This was wonderful.I used a mixture of shredded cheese and then mixed the sauce up with my immersion blender. No need to heat it up as the heat from the cauliflower melted the shredded cheese. I used whole grain macaroni and popped this under the broiler to get top browned. I'll make this again

Mediterranean Beef Meatball Kabob

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2013
Tasty meatball, once I added some Greek seasoning to it. As it, it was kind of bland. I did like the texture and it wasn't dry.. just needed a little boost on the seasonings for me. Make a quick tzatziki sauce, chopped tomatoes and served on garlic naan

Turkey Meat Loaf: Almost As Good As Mom's Used To Be

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2013
Only changes were red pepper instead of green ( red were on sale for 20 cents) and I used a gorgonzola flavored cracker. I liked the texture but some may find it too soft..I would say drain the tomatoes off if you like a firmer loaf

Cinnamon Pretzels

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2013
I really wanted to love these, but I didn't. The dough was a decent texture, but it really had almost no flavor to me. Was just dough topped with cinnamon sugar. The dough itself needs some flavor. like cinnamon or nutmeg.. chocolate chips.. something. Ill try these again, with some tweaks
