Savory Beefy Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2013
These were tasty. I did chop the onions and garlic up a bit more as I cannot eat large piece of veggies. Added lots of salt and pepper to the burger. Having the onions and garlic pre chopped makes for a quicker meal

Bacon Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2013
I read the comments about this being bland and when I tasted the dough, I agreed I needed a little help. I went a different direction with these.. they are a cookie so they needed sweetness. I added a tablespoon of real maple syrup to the dough, and then after baking, topped with a glaze of powdered sugar, maple syrup and a little water. YUM!! Maple bacon cookies.. delish

Easy and Healthy Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2013
This was very easy and very tasty. Make sure you use a good marinara sauce with this as that is the main flavor.

4th of July Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
I didn't find the seasonings penetrated the meat very much. To be fair the day I was going to make this it got way too hot so I didn't sear this for an hour and a half or cook in the oven.. I threw in crockpot. The meat was tender and shredded up nicely, but it did need a sauce..

Sweet Potato Zucchini Hash

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
I added more zucchini ( personal preference) and added some spicy seasoning. I really didn't care for this as a dinner side dish, but had the leftovers topped with scrambled eggs at breakfast and that was terrific

Greek Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
I liked the flavor, but these were very fragile due to the amount of feta... and I even cut back on it when I was adding it. I think less cheese or adding an egg might help them stay together more

Moist Spicy Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2013
Yum delicious. I have never baked turkey burgers before so this was new. The addition of the egg and crumbs does produce a softer more meatloaf like texture, which was fine for me. I'll make this again

Peach Gelee Candy

Really good, for something that is not chocolate. The peachiness is really present.. no mistaking it. I'd like to try this with other fruits sometime

Triple Fudge Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2013
Delicious cookies.. they do need more flour. Add the flour and let the dough sit a little. The chocolate does absorb quite a bit of it. I was lazy and made these into bars.. baked for about 20-25 minutes..

Paleo Tortillas

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2013
Nope.. I started with one egg.. was too much for even half a cup of almond flour.. am up to 1 1/4 cup and while it makes a big ball, it is still far too sticky to roll out.... So I started over.. and used the amounts in the recipe.. POURED it in the skillet, swirl it around to make it thin, then I cooked it .it was fine and tasted quite good. Do not try and roll this out.. no way no how. 4 stars for taste - zero stars for instructions

Creamy Spinach and Zucchini Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
I liked the idea of zucchini and spinach, but this is a very bland soup as is.. plan on needing to add some spices, in my opinion. I wasn't able to find enoki mushrooms so I used a few oyster mushrooms

Talk of the Town SUPERBurgers

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
I liked these. Yes they were a bit crumbly. I would suggest fewer chips. I was unable to get Cool Ranch chips so I got regular and added in some powdered ranch dressing. The chili chips I found were inferno hot so I left out any extra spices..also used half the onion soup mix called for. It was plenty
