Grands!® Fiesta Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2013
I really liked this. I did however, treat this as a bread with "stuff" on top rather than as a main dish. As a main dish for me, it is far too bready.I had this with a bowl or soup and enjoyed it a lot

Grands!® Chicken-Bacon Quesadillas

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2013
These were tasty. I used turkey bacon and instead of peach preserves, I used raspberry. It was a little bready for me, but a change from the usual quesadilla

Really delicious. I couldn't find mace at the market and used chicken stock instead. Had this with a grilled cheese sandwich on pita bread and had a yummy dinner

Orange, Honey and Soy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
This was very tasty. I think it could have used some veggies and a shake of red pepper flakes. I'll make this again

Kroppkakor - Swedish Potato Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2013
This was a nice side dish. I havent had salt pork since I was a child. I am sure it was in a Swedish potato dish, but different from this one. I think I got a not so ood chunk of salt pork because some of it remained very hard - almost like cartlidge. I liked the flavor, but think I'll made this with bacon next time due to the icky salt pork I got

North Indian Nepali Curry Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2013
Yum.. tasty and easy. I cooked these like traditional pot stickers since I don't have a steamer.. a bit of oil to pan, cooked covered for 5 minutes,.. added a bit of water, covered again for 4-5 more minutes. The only change I would make next time is in the filling. For me, it needed to be less meaty, not as firm so I would add more veggies or a few panko crumbs to give the filling a lighter texture

Ponzu Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
Delicious.. just finished eating this and boy was it good! Couple minor tweaks.. marinated the chicken over night and went easy on the peppers. The chili sauce and lime put this over the top... dont leave them out, but use what you can tolerate

Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
Really nice soup. I sauted the veggies in stock and used non fat milk instead of cream to lighten the calories. It is still very delicious and tomatoe-y. I did add more basil. I liked rthis had ther veggies in it as well as the tomato sauce. Very easy and also tasted good cold

Vasilopita

This is a nice lightly sweet bread. Agree with others.. use 13X9 pan or be prepared for a mess in your oven. The texture is between a pound cake and a bread.. everyone enjoyed this

Creamy Curried Root Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
Nice soup. I used olive oil to saute things and all milk. Still came out nice and thick. I used a little bit more than half the curry.. I should have used about half.. its just a tad too spicy. I'l remember to temper it futher next time. I also didnt use 2 head of garlic.. didnt have that much in the house

Tunisian Slow-Cooked Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
The flavor of the turkey was really nice.. I liked the bit of heat. The acorn squash was yummy too. The carrots and garlic were not done enough in 7 hours. My crock-pot was set on a timer and then went to warm so I didn't get a chance to test them at 7 hours. If I had, I would have extended the cooking time. My own fault, but I think I might cut the carrots smaller next time and chop the garlic up

Rutabaga Oven Fries

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
These were really really tasty and smelled wonderful cooking. I found the cooking time to be off though. At 30 mins my fries were still undercooked and not browned at all. I think maybe a slightly hotter oven might work better. I had a hot spot in my oven so some of them got a little too dark, but those were yummy too.

Parma Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
I liked this, but for me it needed a little more oomph. I did use the chipotle but I guess not enough. Next time I will add some fresh rosemary - I tossed a few springs in with the leftovers. My cheese stayed in the chicken just fine

Potato and Broccoli Goodness

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2012
This is a tasty little side dish. I topped it with smoked paprika.. mmm good. The only thing I found this needed was some olive oil on the bread. I tried it without oil and it was dry.. a little olive oil was perfect

Old Bay® Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
This is tasty but very strong. I liked the old bay on the chicken but the sauce was a little intense for me. next time I think I'll use it on the side to dip into rather than coat the whole chicken

Mango-Bacon-Butternut Squash Hash

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2012
For me this was too sweet. The sweetness of the mango and the sweetness of the butternut needed some heat or some savoriness to offset it. I think the issue is the description on "one butternut squash" The butternut squash I had , after paring was close to 2 1/2 pounds of squash.. the description shows this to feed 2 people so I cannot imagine anyone being able to eat a pound and 1/4 of butternut. I didn't even put the full amount of squash in as it seemed like way too much for the amount of bacon. So I will make this again, but adjust the squash amount or add more bacon or sausage and some heat

A pan of deliciousness. The zucchini and onion kept it moist. I added a bit of garlic and the salt I used had a bit of chili in it. This is my new go to recipe

Nice flavor.. easy... threw it all in the food processor. Needed salt and pepper and more heat for my tastes. Will be using leftovers on chicken wraps for work lunches for the week
