Mediterranean Beef Meatball Kabob

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2013
Tasty meatball, once I added some Greek seasoning to it. As it, it was kind of bland. I did like the texture and it wasn't dry.. just needed a little boost on the seasonings for me. Make a quick tzatziki sauce, chopped tomatoes and served on garlic naan

Turkey Meat Loaf: Almost As Good As Mom's Used To Be

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2013
Only changes were red pepper instead of green ( red were on sale for 20 cents) and I used a gorgonzola flavored cracker. I liked the texture but some may find it too soft..I would say drain the tomatoes off if you like a firmer loaf

Cinnamon Pretzels

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2013
I really wanted to love these, but I didn't. The dough was a decent texture, but it really had almost no flavor to me. Was just dough topped with cinnamon sugar. The dough itself needs some flavor. like cinnamon or nutmeg.. chocolate chips.. something. Ill try these again, with some tweaks

Tzatziki Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2013
I loved this.. had it cold with some homemade pita. I didn't measure the cumin.. just sprinkled it til it looked right. Used a tzatziki sauce recipe from here as well

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2013
This turned out really good. I used Recipe Ready Garlic and Onions instead of just garlic and added plenty of cracked rainbow pepper and salt

Chef John's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2013
Really tasty bread. Mine didn't puff up like the video but I didn't have a stand mixer to make these. I did get a pocket, but I had to sort of help open it up a little..

Savory Beefy Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2013
These were tasty. I did chop the onions and garlic up a bit more as I cannot eat large piece of veggies. Added lots of salt and pepper to the burger. Having the onions and garlic pre chopped makes for a quicker meal

Bacon Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2013
I read the comments about this being bland and when I tasted the dough, I agreed I needed a little help. I went a different direction with these.. they are a cookie so they needed sweetness. I added a tablespoon of real maple syrup to the dough, and then after baking, topped with a glaze of powdered sugar, maple syrup and a little water. YUM!! Maple bacon cookies.. delish

This was very easy and very tasty. Make sure you use a good marinara sauce with this as that is the main flavor.

Right up my alley.. yum. I used a high fiber tortillas, Mexican cheese blend, and stacked the tortillas like lasagna noodles.. yumyum. Thank for dinner, Buddy. I made three servings but the full amount of filling.. used that in wraps with fat free cream cheese and slaw for work lunches

4th of July Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
I didn't find the seasonings penetrated the meat very much. To be fair the day I was going to make this it got way too hot so I didn't sear this for an hour and a half or cook in the oven.. I threw in crockpot. The meat was tender and shredded up nicely, but it did need a sauce..

Sweet Potato Zucchini Hash

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
I added more zucchini ( personal preference) and added some spicy seasoning. I really didn't care for this as a dinner side dish, but had the leftovers topped with scrambled eggs at breakfast and that was terrific

Greek Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
I liked the flavor, but these were very fragile due to the amount of feta... and I even cut back on it when I was adding it. I think less cheese or adding an egg might help them stay together more

Moist Spicy Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2013
Yum delicious. I have never baked turkey burgers before so this was new. The addition of the egg and crumbs does produce a softer more meatloaf like texture, which was fine for me. I'll make this again
