Pork Chops Over Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2012
Delicious! This dish was really easy and had lots of flavor. I did reduce the cayenne pepper a little bit; I think it would have been a bit too much if I wouldn't have.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
Easy, tasty, yummy. If you are expecting something gourmet, you probably won't like this recipe, but if you're looking for simple comfort food that you probably ate growing up, you'll like this. I would suggest doubling or even tripling the gravy and serving with mashed potatoes and peas. :) That's what I did tonight, and we cleaned our plates. Can't wait to enjoy leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

Pizza Pasta by Johnsonville®

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
We really loved this! The only change I made was adding a can of mushrooms to it. Next time, I might add pepperoni and onion as well...we like our "pizza" pretty loaded. This is sure to become a new weeknight favorite in your household!

My turkey turned out perfectly. Deliciously moist. I forgot to pick up carrots at the store, but it still turned out great.

Moist and Savory Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2012
Yum! My stuffing turned out perfectly. I did switch things up by adding a pan of crumbled cornbread and extra broth, and I baked it for about 35 mins instead of just making it on the stove. It was a great stuffing for Thanksgiving, and I would surely make it exactly as the recipe states if I were looking for a quick weekday side.

Quick and Flavorful Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2012
I made mine with a 12oz package of frozen "steam in a bag" broccoli and one chicken-flavored Flavor Boost. Quick and easy; it turned out great, and I'll make it again on a night when I'm looking for a quick side.

Crescent Dogs

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
I actually cheated and used "Little Smokies" because I'm not a big fan of hot dogs. I had no idea it was this easy to make "pigs in a blanket." Very tasty and super easy...and my boyfriend loved them, which is always a plus.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2013
My dad used to make me these sandwiches all the time; they are my favorite. It sounds weird, but they're oh-so-good! They work with cooking spray, but I like to use a little butter in the pan instead, just like I do with any other grilled sandwich. Try it! It's delicious!

Terri's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
I made this and thought it was really good, and my BF loved it, too. Simple and just as easy as the canned stuff but better. :) You can taste the BBQ sauce pretty strong, so make sure that you use one that you like, and avoid using one that's too sweet -- I just used Kraft Original myself, might try a hotter one next time. I tasted as is and added a bit of salt, pepper and garlic powder due to personal preferences, but it's great as written, too.

Spicy Potatoes and Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
This is a very good recipe. Microwaving the 'taters beforehand is definitely a good idea; otherwise, it will take forever to get them done. Great as-is, but try adding stuff to it like peppers, onions, chorizo, bacon, crumbled sausage or whatever you might be craving to take it up a notch. Cheese is a good addition, too. I really like the spices in this recipe, so thanks for the great start.

Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
Yum. Made this after a steak dinner a few weeks ago but forgot to leave a review! We had two leftover baked potatoes as well as a leftover grilled onion, so everything worked perfectly.! I diced everything up and sauteed it in the frying pan and had an absolutely DELICIOUS breakfast. I saw that another review suggested adding the onion in for the second half of the cooking time. My onion blackened a little bit as well when I threw it in at the same time as the taters, but I didn't mind; it gave it a great taste, and I prefer my onions very well done anyway. However, I would suggest that those who don't like their onions to be overdone to toss them in after the potatoes have started softening a bit.

Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2013
This is a very simple, traditional recipe for pot roast, and it yields tasty, tender results. I also like using the cornstarch and browning sauce -- it makes a silky, flavorful gravy. My only suggestion is to add a little more seasoning; it might be a smidgen too bland without it. Also, try making it in your crock pot for 8-9 hours on low or 5 hours on high!

This recipe was very good! I followed the recipe exactly other than adding 1/4 tsp minced garlic to the sauce, and it turned out great. Thanks, Barilla!

Pumpkin Bar Icing

This is a really good, really easy recipe that you can use to frost lots of things. I frosted the pumpkin brownie recipe from this site, and it made it extra special. It is sweet, but it's oh so good. Thanks!!
