I am a military wife and SAHM of two daughters ages 4 and 3 and a 2 year old baby boy. I am pregnant with my fourth child and am due in August. I want to be one of those mothers that my children always brag about, and will grow up thanking me for making such amazing food! I want to create traditions in our family surrounding food and special occassions. I am experimenting with vegetarian dishes, and have been moving further and further away from any animal products not certified organic and free range.

I love to bake, and my family are all real big dessert lovers, so I get great pleasure in making delicious treats for us to enjoy. I love making all sorts of parfaits because they are easy, quick and delicious! I love making crock pot meals like roasts and pulled pork, but enjoy making dishes that are super healthy and are colorful.

I always cook a hot meal for breakfast on Sunday morning. I want that to be the one day a week that my family can rely on something from scratch, and delicious!
My cooking triumphs
I have nearly mastered the perfect flaky pie crust, and have gotten away from the thick and chewy ones!I used to wonder how vegetarians could find anything to eat, but have since become a master at finding and making delicious vegetarian meals!
My cooking tragedies
I used to make really chewy and thick pie crust. I would kneed it too long. I have since corrected this and have perfected a flaky and light pie crust by not handling it so much.
