Slow Cooker Hearty Mixed Bean Stew with Sausage

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2015
This was very good and an excellent protein source for our family! It came together very easily! I put all the ingredients together the night before in a crock pot, put it in my fridge, and started it the next morning. Dinner was done when we came through the door! We really like the flavor Swanson's Chicken Broth brought to the stew! I've never used dried beans in a slow cooker before! I'll be doing that from now on. Both cost effective and tasted better! Thanks Swanson for a great recipe!

Nina's One Pan Greek-Style Penne

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2015
This was AMAZING! We loved it! And it came together so quick and easily with Barilla Pronto Penne! My whole family rarely gives the full 5 stars but this took it! Next time, I'll add gyro meat or sausage of some sort to make it a complete meal instead of a side dish! No left overs! This was gone!

Crispy Rice Candy Corn Treats

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2015
These were good! Brought them to my daughter's preschool and they were devoured. Next time I'll add less rice cereal or more marshmallows. I'll also press the chocolate chips on after they cool a bit so they hold their shape instead of melting all over the place. :)

Balsamic Roasted Fennel and Acorn Squash Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2015
Delicious! This recipe has inspired me to use acorn squash in other recipes! I didn't know how much our family loved acorn squash until this recipe! The flavors here were great. We picked up the fennel from our neighbors farm, so it was super fresh and it pared perfectly with the fennel. To me this seems like an unlikely combination, but it worked! Thank you for a great recipe and thank you Uncle Ben's for making a great rice blend. I can't say enough about the flavor combination here!

Buffalo or Barbeque Chicken and Rice Wraps

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2015
These were amazing! My husband and I raved about them! They were EVEN better the next day! We've already made these twice more this month! A quick and easy lunch! Perfect wraps and super simple with the use of Uncle Ben's Ready Rice! We used lettuce from our garden instead of shredded. I also julienne cut the carrots and added them into the wraps. It was a perfect addition. Thanks for a great recipe!

Easy One-Pan Taco Skillet

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2015
This was a super easy recipe, in fact, my husband took this one over and did an excellent job! This is a great base for nachos and would be perfect served with refried beans and guacamole. This would also be excellent filling for tacos: fresh or fried. The Uncle Ben's Ready Rice made this a very quick, fool-proof meal. Great for a busy week day!

Cheesy Rice Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2015
I made these exactly as written. I think we would have liked them more if there was more cream cheese and a LITTLE bit less rice. I think next time I would do 8oz cream cheese and half the breading. Otherwise, great twist on stuffed peppers! The filling was easy to use and rice was simple to make with Uncle Ben's ready rice! I love these pouches! Thank you for the recipe! Our family loves stuffed peppers.

Traditional Mexican Guacamole

Reviewed: May 5, 2015
We really enjoyed this! I think next time I will use lime juice (instead of lemon juice) and minced garlic. I'll also add a second jalapeno. Great recipe! Thank you!

Mexican-Style Fajitas

Reviewed: May 5, 2015
I was hopeful. Used a really nice beer to marinate the meat in. We really enjoy more spice! It was a great base, but we found we wanted sour cream, guacamole, and taco sauce. I also thought it was weird that the veggies were in with raw meat, but the recipe doesn't instruct to cook them! I did!

Healthy Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: May 5, 2015
We loved these tacos! I used soft tacos and made the shells star burst shaped before I put them in the oven draped over on the racks. This created a stand-up hard taco with a fun shape. I then used the cut-outs for cinnamon and sugar chips for dessert! I added garlic to the seasoning for the fish, and used cod (as this is what I had). The result was a fantastic dinner. We really enjoyed the mango salsa and will be eating any left overs with nachos! I will for sure make this again!

NO YOLKS® Beef Goulash

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2015
It needs WAY more seasoning. The sour cream was the most flavorful component of the dish. Too many carrots. Could have used a heap of garlic. Add more seasoning to the flour mixture before coating (garlic and Italian seasoning, perhaps?). Heading in the right direction, but not quite there.

NO YOLKS® Luscious Kugel

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2015
I added vanilla and extra cinnamon, the flavor of the bottom portion was good. The noodles sticking out the top were hard. Maybe covering with foil would have helped? Special K on top didn't really add anything for us. Good idea, not quite there.

Absinthe Frappe Cocktail

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2015
My husband and I made several absinthe drinks and this was by far his favorite. For sure a black licorice lovers dream. The crushed ice really brings out the absinthe cloud/aroma. A great drink/combination. Thank you!

Drinkable! Interesting combination. I'll make again for someone who isn't a huge fan of the absinthe flavor! Thank you!

My husband and I tried absinthe for the first time this way, and fell in love! If it's your first time experiencing absinthe, try it this way first! Lots of fun too!

Best Ever Cowboy Caviar

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2015
Had to do a special shopping trip for this one and learned about a few new types of corn and beans (I had almost NONE of this in stock), but it was worth it. I've bought something very similar premade before, but this beats it hands down. I could sit down and make a meal out of this! Yum! Great recipe!

Paleo-Pancakes

Three ingredients! Squeeze an orange slice on it and WOW. These were REALLY good! I didn't have arrowroot powder on hand, so I used tapioca starch. The result was a great breakfast! Another keeper. All three of us liked it!
