I'm a half-Korean food-lover. I graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration - Finance in May 2009. Before I started cooking in October 2008 I always said I would either make enough money to eat out or marry a man who loves to cook. =D I'm incredibly busy with work and studying for the CPA, but it will be worth it once I obtain my CPA license! I can't wait to start working at one of the Big Four!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking. I bring in treats to work 2 or 3 times a week! I also LOVE making Korean food. =D
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family doesn't have any cooking traditions, not even for Holidays. During all parties, though, we always have Korean food and Filipino food!
My cooking triumphs
KOREAN FOOD! I made it for the first time on 4/9/09 and it was delicious. I also made an amazing Garlic Shrimp pasta dish once.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
The family loved this - I used raspberry jam, heated for approx 15 seconds, versus making the raspberry sauce. (Sorry - I needed a quicker fix for the raspberry - no time to make the sauce.) We really enjoyed this recipe. Other than that, I doubled the crust in order for it to be a thicker crust. Otherwise, left the recipe unchanged. Will make this again. :)

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Sweet Potato Pie I
I thought this turned out really well. The spices gave it enough of a kick to make it stand out. My only change was to do 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar, but this would be good with just 1 cup of sugar. In my opinion, the amount sugar can generally be changed based on your personal sugar/sweet tolerance level. The boyfriend and his family loved it.
