Blue Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
I think I found my new favorite stuffed mushrooms! These are absolutely delicious....a little bit of heaven. I did not blend the mixture, but instead kept it chunky, just as a personal preference. The saltiness of the blue cheese and the sweetness of the caramelized onions is just perfect. I made a double batch and had a ton of filing left over, but it was delicious just eating it with a spoon. I can't wait to make these for our next get-together. Thanks for sharing!

Sally's Spinach Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Delicious! These have to be one of the best mashed potatoes ever. They are creamy (I even used less butter and low fat sour cream) and just heavenly. The only change I made was to use fresh spinach and add a clove of garlic, because I had a whole bag to use up, but other than that I kept them the same. The addition of the dill is perfect, so make sure not to skip it. These are definitely going into my rotation (and the pefect way to get the guys to eat their spinach). Thanks for sharing!

Jan's Simple and Tasty Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
10 star plus! These are the BEST egg rolls ever (minus the shrimp...I don't do shrimp). They came together perfectly with just the right amount of moisture not to make the wrapper and filling soggy. The fresh garlic made it over the top. I highly suggest that anyone who loves egg rolls try this immediately...you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for another stellar recipe!

Butterscotch Gingerbread Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
I loved everything about this recipe. The dough was so easy to work with and baked up perfectly. And the taste was even better. The butterscotch chips add the perfect sweet, creamy touch to these cookies. These are a definite keeper!

Brown-Eyed Susans I

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Delicious! These little cookies are just perfect. The dough did end up a bit crumbly for me, but the final product still turned out right. I made exactly as written and the frosting just puts them over the top. These are going to be a definite keeper in my house.

Holiday Cranberry Chutney

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This is the perfect cranberry sauce. I am not a fan of cranberry sauce at all, but I can eat this all by myself. The blend of flavors is absolutely perfect...just the right hint of spice and sweet. It makes your house smell just like the holidays. I have made this two years in a row and everyone raves every time. I serve it with cream cheese and triscuits. Thanks Cheryl for sharing your recipe that has now become part of our tradition.

Death By Chocolate III

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This is the perfect chocolate dessert. I made it exactly as is and there is nothing that I would change about it. It was super easy, fast and most of all delicious. I think next time I may try switching the toffee with crushed peanut butter cups! This will definitely be on my menu for Christmas.

Jalapeno Popper Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I made these for an appetizer for Thanksgiving and they were the first things to go. These were so delicious and so much easier than making an actual popper. I did skip the hot sauce because I didn't have any (even though I could have sworn I did), but I can't wait to try them with. These will be on my regular rotation for appetizers, because they are that good.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This turned out to be the most delicious turkey I've ever made. I was a bit worried that the flavors would be overpowering from putting the herbs directly on the meat, but boy was I wrong. This method actually infused the meat perfectly with the blend of rosemary, basil and garlic. It stayed perfectly moist and was delicious warmed up the next day. This will definitely be the only way I make turkey from now on. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Twice-Baked Sweet Potatoes With Mini Marshmallows

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I made these for Thanksgiving for something different and I couldn't have been happier that I chose these. I am not a big fan of sweet potatoes, but these were absolutely delicious. I loved the tang from the buttermilk and the sweetness of the marshmallows. I think these will be our new tradition for the holidays!

Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Delicious! These turned absolutely wonderful. The blend of flavors was amazing along with the smokiness of the bacon. I didn't marinate them overnight and glad I didn't because I think, for our tastes, it would have been too strong. Everyone absolutely raved about these at Thanksgiving, which in turn makes it a definite keeper in my house. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Shredded Chicken Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
These had to be the BEST chicken tacos I've ever had. The only thing I did different was to use boneless breasts, because it's what I had on hand. The flavor blend in these were spot on, with just the perfect little kick. My family absolutely loved them. I will never make another chicken taco recipe again!

Easy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
OMG these potatoes were to die for! They were so creamy and had just the right amount of garlic in them. I had to stop myself from "tasting" them to make sure they were good. I found my taters for Thanksgiving and my new favorite taters. Thank you so much Ken for sharing your recipe!

Hot Onion Pinwheels

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
These are quite tasty little rolls! The dough was one of the easiest doughs I have made yet. It was easy to roll out and rose beautifully. The end product was perfect. I served them alongside soup, but I think they would go well with just about anything. Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe!

Old-Fashioned Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
This has now become my favorite soup. The flavors were absolutely delicious..a little spicy, a little tang, but oh so perfect. And the best part is that it's easy to make and fast. I do recommend not adding salt until you have tasted it because of the broth and soy sauce. I ended up using very little extra salt. The only thing I did differently was to add a can of petite diced tomatoes, instead of chopping the whole ones, and adding a couple of potatoes. I will definitely be making this again and quite often. Thank you Shelly for this 10 star soup!

Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Oh wow! These have made me a total brussel sprouts lover. Even my little guy loved them. The blend of flavors is awesome and the pine nuts just put it over the top. The next time (and there is definitely going to be a next time) I will reduce the butter by half, because it was a little much with the bacon grease. Overall I would give this recipe 100 stars is possible. Thanks for sharing your recipe!!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
If I could give this 10 stars I would! I was a little worried about the amount of heat from the peppers, so I almost passed on this recipe. But, I am so glad I went for it anyway. This turned out absolutely delicious. It was moist, tender and the flavoring was perfect. I made it into sandwiches with provolone, caramelized onions and a few of the peppers all toasted in the oven. Who would have thought that something so absolutely "simple" would be so outstanding. This will definitely be put into my rotation!

Pumpkin Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Oh my, these have to be one of the best brownies ever! I made them in a muffin tin instead of an 8 x 8 pan because I was taking them to work. I also sprinkled the walnuts on top, because I wasn't sure who liked them or not. They were gone in record time. Those were the only minor changes that I made that don't affect the outcome of the recipe. These are absolutely perfect as is. They are more cake-like, but moist and creamy. I now have to make sure I have pumpkin on hand at all times in case I have a craving for these! Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe!

Spooky Halloween Eyeballs

Great tasting eyeballs! Unfortunately they are very time consuming (which was a given) and a bit of a pain, but in the end when all was said and done the family enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing!
