Corn and Zucchini Melody

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
What a wondeful vegetable dish! I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing. My little guy who doesn't usually eat zucchini ate it all. The monterey and bacon added another dimension to the already delicious vegetables. This will definitely be a keeper in my house.

Cheesy Polenta

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
I wanted to like this one, but unfortunately I couldn't get past a bite or two. I had no problems with lumps and it was creamy but after sitting for a few minutes it took on a weird texture. The husband said it was okay and the little guy ate a few bites. I won't be making this one again.

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
The perfect pie crust! I was looking for the perfect crust yesterday and this one was recommended to me...and I cannot be more grateful for the recommendation. This crust was super easy and turned out absolutely to die for. It is light and flaky and tastes absolutely delicious. This will now be my go-to crust!

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
This is a light and absolutely delicious crust. I loved the taste that the whole wheat brings to the pizza. I have made it as is and have subbed all whole wheat flour and both ways it is delicious. I usually just throw everything in the bread machine and it turns out absolutely perfect. A definite keeper in our house!

Veggie Pizza Faces

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
What a great way to get your kids involved in helping with dinner! Me and my little guy made these last night and had a blast creating faces for everyone. I didn't have pita bread, so we went with a whole wheat crust instead. These were such a hit that I'm going to make sure we have the pita bread handy to make for lunches or an easy dinner. We used olives, peppers, onions and we added pepperoni for hair. I loved the touch of ranch dressing (the lite is absolutely delicious and you don't miss all the calories) and we served a side of it to dip the pizza in. This will be a definite keeper in my house!

Tasty Lentil Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
Five star plus recipe! I've made these several times and thought it was time to write a review. These are absolutely delicious exactly as written. The perfect blend of spices. My family was a bit skeptical but they all devoured them just the same as if they were meat tacos with no complaints. Every time I make them, I keep thinking why have I waited so long to make them again...that's how delicious they are!

Grandma's Chocolate Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
Delicious! My family absolutely loved these and had no clue that there was healthy zucchini in there. I thought they were more cake-like than brownie, but it may have been because I used a 9x13 pan instead of a jelly roll pan. But, in any case they were just the right amount of sweet and chocolatey goodness. These are going to be a definite keeper in my house!

Teriyaki Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
I thought I had teriyaki sauce, but I didn't so I looked for a simple recipe that I had all the ingredients for and I found this one. I have to say it was absolutely delicious as a marinade for chicken and my guys loved it in their burgers. This is fast, easy and most people have these basic ingredients in their pantry. I will definitely be using this again when something calls for teriyaki. Thanks Judy for sharing this great sauce!

Teriyaki Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
I made these for the guys and they gave them five stars. My husband loved the addition of the teriyaki sauce and said it made them nice and juicy. My little guy didn't even complain that there were onions, and that's impressive! I don't eat hamburgers, but grilled a chicken breast in the teriyaki sauce and then topped with the onions and cheese and it was absolutely delicious. This is a definite keeper in our house!

Jalapeno Popper Mushrooms

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
OMG if I could give these a million stars I would! These were absolutely the most delicious stuffed mushrooms I have ever had. I love the creaminess of the cream cheese and the slight heat from the jalapeno paired with the bacon and cheddar. Next time (and there will be many next times), I will double the recipe because me and my husband fought over the leftovers for lunch! Thank you CookinBug for sharing your awesome recipe!

Loaded Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
Unfortunately, I think I'll be the minority here in saying that they did not impress me. I did the partial cooking in the microwave and then finished them in the oven thinking they would come out better than all microwaved, but I just wasn't impressed. It was difficult to get the seasoning in between all the slits and the topping just fell off. Unfortunately, I won't be making these again :(

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

We absolutely love these rolls! I made them last night for the guys' burgers and they came out perfect. They are nice and light and airy and have the perfect hint of sweetness from the honey. These are definitely going to be a keeper in my house!

Accordion Bread with Three-Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
Delicious! Of course, mine looked nothing like the picture, but nevertheless it was so good I couldn't stop eating it. The creaminess of the cream cheese and the tang of the sundried tomatoes went just perfectly together. I sprinkled parsley on top and served it with our pasta dinner. This will definitely be made again in our house, but I may just cut the slices and put the filling on top instead of trying to stuff the slices...much easier and faster!

Crunchy Cheese Crisps

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2011
I made these yesterday after seeing the mixed reviews. I absolutely loved them. I used plain chips and added a little less cayenne...next time I will add the full amount of cayenne because it added the perfect touch. I had no problems with them spreading, being greasy or sticking. These were the perfect little snack that hit the spot with their crunchiness and everything is better with cheese. Thank you for sharing this recipe that is a keeper at my house!

Redneck Caviar

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
Delicious! I absolutely love that it does not use Italian dressing (I'm not a fan). The dressing is to die for and makes the sweetness of the peppers come out even more. I love the addition of the celery, which I thought I wouldn't like. It add a nice crunch and just a hint of celery taste. The longer it sat on the counter, the better it tasted. In fact, I had it for lunch and dinner...that's how good it is. I can't wait to try it over chicken. Thanks again bellepepper for sharing your wonderful recipes. This will be the only way I make "caviar"!

Sara's Baked Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
Absolutely delicious....5 star plus! I thought the flavors were just perfect, not too sweet with just a little kick from the Tabasco sauce (which you can adjust to your liking). I loved the butter beans and would have never thought to put them in baked beans, mainly due to their size, but it gave great texture. They are also just about the easiest baked bean recipe I've tried, which is always a plus. You know they're good when your three year old keeps coming back for more! I do believe this is my favorite baked bean recipe! Thank you bellepepper for sharing this delicious recipe!

Maui Onion Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
If I could drink this dressing out of the container I would...that's how good it is! I made this tonight to go with a simple green salad and I am officially declaring it my favorite dressing. It is a little on the sweet side, but I didn't mind it, and you could always decrease the sugar to taste. I expected the onion flavor to be overpowering, but it wasn't. It had a mild onion flavor with a hint of sweetness. None of the ingredients overpowered another one, but instead made the perfect blend of flavors. This is definitely going to be one of my go to dressings. I see a lot of salads in my future!

Pesto BLT

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2011
Delicious twist on the classic BLT! I made it exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. I didn't tell the family what I did different until after they finished, but they couldn't stop saying how good it was. The pesto gave it the perfect creamy, sweetness mixed in with the mayo. I am definitely keeping this one...thanks Christina!!!

Sweet Honey French Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
Absolutely delicious! I have made this bread several times, both in the bread machine and with my mixer, and every time it has come out perfect. This last time I made rolls and they made the best sandwiches ever. The slight touch of honey makes just the right amount of sweetness. This is definitely a keeper!

Caramel Macchiato Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
The only word to describe this banana bread is PERFECT! I stink at making banana bread, but had to try this one because of all the good reviews...boy am I glad I did. It came out absolutely moist and delicious. It had the perfect blend of coffee, banana and caramel. The icing just put them over the top. I made them into muffins after reading Sarah Jo's review, just because I know my family would eat the muffins over the bread. I baked them at 350 for about 18 minutes and they were perfect. I will make sure I have the ingredients for this at all times, because I know it's going be made quite often here (already my second batch in 2 days). Thanks Dianne for sharing this awesome recipe!
