Have you ever noticed Some recipies that call for fried rice but the recipes you find never calls for the rice to be fried? I never had salt pork before, and I saw it at the supper market. It is salty so I figured that using it with cabbage, potatoes, and carrots would be a good fit. Normally I make this dish with smoked ham, and ham bone, but it was good with salt pork also. I think tomorrow is left overs MORE

Yesterday was beef stew, and there was left overs for today. later playing around I fried some chicken breaded in Doritos chips that I pounded to a flour. it kind of turned into a paste due to the oil in the chips, but I added some gen purpose flour. It is unfortunate that the recipe called for A "jar spaghetti sauce" and cook for 6 hours. Don't get me wrong, I use jar sauces too from time to time to save time mostly when I am running late, and need to get something on the table, But if your going to cook a table ready sauce for 6 hours… MORE

Yesterday I Cooked A Picnic Ham (I Got It For .99 A Lb). It was made by smithfield but there was some Off label I think it said It was for the mane area.
