Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I think this a 4 star, but rated it 5 because it is perfect. I did not add sugar and used 1 tsp pure vanilla. We add a tad more milk because we like thin gooey pancakes. This is perfect and doesn't need the sugar!

Slow Cooker Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
I thought this was delicious. The meat was so tender and not dry. My husband and 8 y/o daughter didn't like it. They ate it, but would not want me to make it again. I think I will make it again, but not tell them, and see what they say. I think it is company worthy. So delicious.

Crockpot Taco Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
I don't always have this go for 8 hours, sometimes 4 or 5. If I am home and running behind, I will start it on high then switch to low. It really is fool proof.

Rosemary Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
Way better than boxed rice! I didn't have canned chicken broth so I used 2 cups of water to 1 chicken bouillon cube. I did not add the parmesan cheese only because my husband isn't a fan of cheese with rice and I didn't think it needed it. Found a keeper! Thank you!

Chocolate Mint Milkshake

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
This is excellent. Needed more than a "drop" of peppermint. Next time I am going to add mint oreos!

Wacky Mac

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
I scaled this down to three and we have enough for left overs. I omitted the salt and green pepper, added a 14 oz can tomato sauce, only put in 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and all chili powder and it is too spicy for us. I also used fresh freezer corn. Also used mini bow ties because I was out of wagon wheels. My hubby wanted to know if we had sour cream, but he likes everything creamy.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
These are awesome. you can do so many variations with them. If I dont find a scone pan next time I will make 18-24 with one batch. Excited to try freezing the dough like another reviewer as well. I also used light sour cream and they were delicious. people asked me for the recipe, but I just want to keep it all for myself!

BBQ Chicken Calzones

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
I would give this between 4 and 5 stars. My husband ended up making the meal and he didn't measure the cheese so I can't say for sure, but would use more cheese next time or measure it to 1 cup. We cooked up cubed chicken and used 2 cups. Definitely could feed 6 if you add a salad and fruit. Will definitely make this again. Thanks!
