About this Cook
Hi there, my name is Kelly Campbell, I am in my thirties, married and have two children (one boy and one girl). My husband and I both love to cook and are both members of This is truly the greatest recipe site we've found and use it almost on a daily basis. I think we consider ourselves intermediate cooks, but we're working on it!
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook almost anything - although baking isn't really my strong suit. I think my favourite thing to cook at present time would be pasta dishes, they're incredibly versatile and fit into our lifestyle really well.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have any family cooking traditions, although my mother is a FANTASTIC baker, so I try to take as many hints and tips from her that I can.
My cooking triumphs
We recently had a dinner party and served quite an extensive meal, appetizers, soup, salad, entree and dessert. I did a lot of the prep work before our guests arrived and that really reduced the amount of time spent in the kitchen. Everything went off without a hitch, the food (and the company) was excellent - everyone was raving about it!
My cooking tragedies
Hmmmm - there are so many, I just don't know where to begin :) The most recent I guess is that I spent a great deal of time marinating and then stuffing some chicken breasts, I took time to cook it just right, we were so excited about eating this dish - but it tasted awful because as it turned out, the chicken was freezer burned!!

Krista's Sticky Honey Garlic Wings
These wings were really good - even my kids liked them! I used 24 split wings (12 whole wings) and cut the sauce ingredients by 1/3 and it turned out great....nice and sticky sweet!!

Foolproof Rib Roast
Amazing! I was so unsure about cooking my roast this way...I had fears that it would come out raw, but it was perfect! I cooked a 4 1/5 lb roast, and the end result was a beautiful roasted piece of meat that was cooked to medium all the way through!

Peanut Butter Nuggets
I made these little balls this afternoon and we thought they were SO good! I followed the recipe almost exactly, the only change being that I added about 2 Tbsp of unsweetened almond milk to the final result - without it, the cookies were very crumbly. Great little snack, but don't be fooled, they're not super healthy!
