The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2013
Best sugar cookie recipe I have found. the cookies have a wonderful taste, and don't spread out so much you can't tell the shape cut. I left them in the frig overnight, and they were very easy to handle, and not a bit sticky. Thanks so much for sharing this one.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2013
My favorite tuna casserole recipe with one change. Add the small (5 ounce) can of evaporated milk. No dry casserole, just creamy and good.

Caramel Banana Tiramisu

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2013
Very good flavor, easy to put together. Caramel and Bananas go together surprisingly well. I did use Hot Caramel rather than the caramel dip (at room temp, however) Also, I soaked the banana slices in orange juice to prevent their darkening. thank you for sharing this recipe.

Garlic Mashed Cauliflower

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
What a winner! I would never have thought cauliflower could have a fluffy texture, but it does. DH thought it was potatoes. I will be doing this regularly. I did add a little more Cream Cheese and a little less Parm, but I am very pleased with recipe. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Southern Biscuits with Mayonnaise

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2013
This is a very good biscuit. The flavor is excellent, it is easy to make, takes very little time, and if it has a flaw it is that they did not rise quite as much as I would like...which may improve as I make them again. thank you for sharing this great biscuit recipe. First good scratch biscuits I have made.

Fiesta Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
I made some changes, but it was such a good started and I absolutely loved it. First, I used corn tortillas, personal bias. Easy to use if you heat in microwave with a wet paper towel for 20 seconds...no tearing, no problems. I prepared the filling as written, except no cilantro (don't like it) and added chile powder. Did not add cheese to the filling, but did add a about a fourth of a can of enchilada sauce along with the 1/4 cup salsa. Wen filling the enchilada, I put the chicken mixture, then cheese, rolled and placed in pan. when all were in pan, poured remaining enchilada sauce rather then salsa over the enchiladas, sprinkled with cheese and onion and baked for 20 minutes. These were so good! I will make them again many time. I think the one I had left over and reheatd the next day was even better. thank you for a super recipe.

Poppy Seed Dressing III

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2013
This is an excellent recipe. I made it almost just as written but used fat free half and half instead of whole milk (didn't have whole milk.) I will make this anytime I need a similar dressing. Thank you for a great recipe.

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2013
After reading other reviews, I made a couple of changes. I decreased the flour by 1/2 cup and increased the oatmeal by the same amount. I removed a third of the dough before adding the pecans, and added 1/2 cup golden raisins and 1/3 teaspoon of cinnamon to that part My husband loved both variations. I will probably add the raisins and cinnamon each time I make it. The cinnamon especially added to the goodness of the cookie to me.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: May 19, 2013
We really liked this recipe, and I will certainly make it again. Following others suggestions, I used fat free half and half to cut down the fat. Also, for simplicity sake, used two cans of petite diced tomatoes. Because we are vegetarians, I used a box of Mornings Star Farms hot and spicy veggie sausage I used all the oil since the sausage doesn't have a lot of extra fat. Also topped it with a little parmesan cheese, and added sliced black olives to each serving. The flavor was excellent, and even my husband who usually dislikes any type of cream sauce really liked it. It was very flavorful and spicy, due to the spicy sausage and the red pepper. Excellent, Thanks for a great one.

Raisin Filled Spice Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
We liked these cookies very much. I made a few changes. Added 2 Tablespoons brown sugar and a teaspoon orange zest to the filling. I also replaces 1/4 of white sugar with brown sugar in the cookie dough. I made two dozen cookies and had just the right amount of filling. I debated adding a bit of frosting, but my husband loved them just as they were. The dough was a bit soft, but chilling for 30 minutes took care of that, and I suspected my change could have contributed to it. Thanks Ginger. These are delicious.

Easy Delicious Old Fashioned Cole Slaw Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
This is an excellent dressing. I had been in the habit of making a sweeter dressing for slaw, but wanted a different type. This is s good that I keep a jar of it and a bag of shredded cabbage handy in my frig so I can use it for a snack if I get hungry, and increase the fiber in my diet Since I love slaw, this works out well for me. Thank you for sharing your recipe

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
On my, These are excellent! I followed another poster's suggestion and baked them rather than fried, and I used Canola oil spray. Didn't use the red pepper because I was using Monterey Jack cheese (had it but no plain Jack cheese). The brown sugar really adds. these will bee a new staple. Thanks for sharing.

Kitchen Sink Salad Dressing

I love this dressing, but prefer it with amount of ketchup rather than the tomato soup. Equal amount ketchep, mayo and oil.
