About Me
I am a stay-at-home mom with a 3 yr old daughter (She is a GREAT eater!) and a 3 week old Preemie Boy! I am working with a tight budget, but have expensive taste in food! I rarely follow a recipe... don't like to measure! I love to read cookbooks, magazines and food blogs for new inspiration.
My favorite things to cook
Anything Mexican or Italian.. experimenting with more Asian cooking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
LOVE my mom's Sage Dressing and crab breads- two holiday favorites!
My cooking triumphs
I make a mean Sage Brown Butter sauce for Ravioli, great Pot Stickers and a yummy Kielbasa and Spinach soup!
My cooking tragedies
The year I set the stove on fire the day before Thanksgiving trying to dry out my bread for dressing... had to call the fire dept and spent the next two days cleaning up the residue from the fire extinguisher. On the plus side- my house was insanely clean for the holidays!
