Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
These cookies are absolutely delicious! I made this exactly as is, and they turned out great! I just made sure to keep stirring the sugar mixture because I was nervous about it burning. I wasn't sure what the cookies would be like with the saltines, but give them a try. They are super easy and unique for parties as well. The salt, crunch, toffee, and chocolate is very yummy and addicting!

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2014
I made these for the Super Bowl game. I followed the sauce recipe exactly and used frozen home style meatballs in the crock pot. The cranberry flavor was too much, and we couldn't really taste any other flavors. The sauce was just too sweet. I think I will try something else next time.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2014
I cooked this in a slow cooker using the same method that gymmom recommended. I sprayed the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray and layered the chicken, cheese slices, chicken soup/milk mixture, stuffing, and drizzled melted butter. I used a little more stuffing to cover the entire top because I really like stuffing. I cooked it on low for 3.5 hours then turned it to warm for about 30 minutes, and it turned out perfectly. I love the slow cooker version because the chicken was so moist and easily cut apart with a fork. Nothing dried out and you do not need to add any extra liquid. I love how easy and filling this is - very much a comfort food!

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2014
This taco seasoning is so good! It tastes just like the taco packets, even better and spicier. I really like knowing what I am putting in my food with this recipe, rather than a mystery packet. Plus you can easily adjust for more spice. I used the whole amount for 1 lb. of ground beef, and added 2/3 cup water, then simmered. Very delicious! I will be using this taco seasoning recipe from now on!

Honey Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2014
This is an awesome corn bread recipe! I have made it many times, and it always turns out great! I especially love it straight out of the oven! I have made it using a 9 x 9 inch pan and also using a muffin tin. For muffins, 15-17 minutes at the same temperature worked perfectly! This is definitely my go-to for corn bread!
