About this Cook
I am married with three children. I actually love to cook but our demanding schedule often takes the joy out of cooking. The biggest challenge for me is having the forethought to plan meals ahead of time instead of scrambling to stuff bellies before bed. My husband and I both enjoy fresh baked food as opposed to processed foods, my 12 year old daughter is extremely picky and my 5 year old son will eat anything I put in front of him. I am not necessarily creative in the kitchen but I can follow a recipe and I'm addicted to this website!
My favorite things to cook
I love slow cooker meals!! Anything that can cut out the madness that inevitably occurs around 6:00pm :-)

Jamie's Minestrone
Reminded me of the Weight Watchers veggie soup which I like but I was just hoping for a more robust soup. Although much better on day #2, I didn't think this was all that great.

Sugar Cookie Icing
Great recipe! I was drawn to this recipe because it didn't call for egg whites. This is a keeper.
