Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: May 6, 2015
Made this recipe to thank our vegetarian friend for helping us out around our house. He LOVED it! He raved about it so much that I ended up making a burrito for myself and I was very pleasantly surprised. The changes I made was using seasoned black beans and I added a can of rotel to the mix. This recipe would be great for lunch at work, can't wait to make it again!

Fajita Seasoning

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2015
At the last minute my husband decided he wanted fajitas for dinner last night. I found this recipe and decided to give it a try. However, it was just okay for us. It didn't really have the fajita seasoning taste I was looking for. Easy to make but still on the hunt for a go to fajita seasoning recipe.

Chicken Garlic Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2015
We really liked the flavor combination of this recipe! Per other reviews I doubled the butter sauce and added a bit more garlic to the sauce. LOVED how it tasted on the pizza! I already had shredded chicken from another recipe I had made and we added a little bit of mozzarella cheese with the ricotta because....well we just love cheese! This is a great recipe if your looking for a different type of pizza. Can't wait to make it again!

Old Italian Meat Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2015
What a great sauce! I made a few changes due to what I had on hand and the recipe was still family pleasing. Instead of pork I had Italian sausage and ground beef...loved the flavor the Italian sausage added. And we omitted the mushrooms due to personal preference, I also cut back on the wine a bit. I don't mind wine in my dishes but I felt the 2 cups more before you simmer seemed a bit much. The sauce was still so hearty and flavorful. I think this will be my go to meat sauce recipe. YUM!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2015
Perfect blueberry muffin recipe! Love how thick the batter was....at first I thought I had done something wrong but when I pulled them out of the oven and tasted one it melted in my mouth. I LOVE the topping....be generous with it and cover the top of the whole muffin. I mean drench it in the stuff....it really makes a difference. Thanks for a fantastic recipe!

This recipe was really good! I'm not much of a fish lover but I've been trying to cook it more and more for my husband and son. They both LOVED this recipe. I liked how quick and easy the recipe was for a weeknight! I'll definitely be making this recipe again!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Delicious and easy weeknight recipe! I used A1 sauce for the steak sauce and it was really good. Next time I'll try marinating the chicken beforehand for even more flavor! :)

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2014
This salad is delicious!! I followed other reviews and used balsamic vinegar for the dressing instead of white. I also added a little feta cheese to the mix. It complemented our early Easter dinner perfectly. I will definitely be making this recipe again!

Greek-Style Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2014
YUM!! I've been trying to find ways to jazz up my tuna salad for lunch at work. This recipe hit the spot! I used the absolutely fabulous greek/house dressing from this site and switched out the kalamata olives for black olives because of personal preference. Thanks for the great recipe!

Zesty Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2014
This recipe was really good! I've had quinoa before but never made it so I thought this recipe was a good start. I feel the flavors mix together beautifully but only after you let it sit for an hour or so before serving. Gives time for the lime juice and other spices to soak into the quinoa. I'll definitely be making this again!

Southwest Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
Thi recipe was good. As is, I think it would have been a little bland, so per other reviews I added some salt and pepper to the chicken and some garlic to the mix. Next time I think I'll add some chicli powder and possibly onions. All in all it was a good healthy dish!

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
Delicious! I used spicy italian sausage instead of mild and olive oil instead of butter. I also added a bit more white wine to create more of a sauce. It turned out fantastic. I will be making this again!

Italian BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2014
We liked this recipe! My husband went to turn the BBQ on and found out we were out of propane so we ended up simmering the pork chops in the sauce on the stove top. They still turned out great! I liked how it was quick and easy and used ingredients I already had on hand. I will be making this again so we can try on the BBQ this time.

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2013
I cut back on the minced onion per other reviews and I completely forgot to buy pimentos so I added a little tabasco sauce to the mix. A nice, quick filling recipe. Oh and instead of croutons I used italian seasoned bread crumbs. Hubby liked them a lot, said it reminded of a quick pot pie! Thank you for sharing the recipe Sandy!

Slow Cooker Philly Steak Sandwich Meat

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2013
Excellent recipe! So much flavor. My husband liked using the leftover juices to dip his sandwich into since there was so much flavor in the juice as well. :) We used 805 beer, and I didn't realize it until I made the recipe that I was out of beef bouillon so I used a little beef stock instead. Loved how easy and good the recipe was! We will be making this again!

Thai Chicken with Basil Stir Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2013
YUM! What a different recipe from the normal stir fry I make. My husband has been helping me in the kitchen since I'm 9 months pregnant and I thought this recipe would be a bit of a challenge for him but not too diffcult. You should have seen how proud he was when we tasted it. The flavor of the basil was fantastic. The only thing we left out were the mushrooms since we both don't like them, other than that it was a hit! I will definitely be making this recipe again, we liked the kick the red pepper flakes made and I don't often cook with coconut juice.

Momma Pritchett's Grilled Pork Chops and Apple-Pear Topping

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2013
Apples are in season and I LOVE pork with apples so I thought this recipe would be great to try! The flavor of the marinade was really good and I liked the hint of lime. I forgot to buy pears so we only used apples for the topping and we didn't grill them at the end. It still turned out just fine. Great fall recipe when its still nice enough out to BBQ! Thanks for sharing the recipe Dianne!
