Wonderful Gluten Free White Bread

I make bread for my little grandson who must eat Gluten Free. It's hard to tell it's gluten free, the taste is good. I've tried many other recipes and this is one of the best if not the best. I wrap each piece separately with plastic wrap and then but all the slices into a freezer bag so his mom can freeze them and take out at will. Now he enjoys PBJ's and grilled cheese like the rest of the kids.

Baked Chicken Wings

I just realized I hadn't rated these and I'm about to make them for about the 7th time since discovering the recipe. Hubby and sons love them and so do I. We like to dip them in some ranch dressing. So happy to find a good taste without all the oil of deep frying. I can now have these more on a regular basis instead of the once in a great while of the deep fried ones. Good for the diet and more healthy. I do let the chicken marinate a bit in the sauce.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Add me to those that loved it. Just prior to serving I put some of the remaining raspberry sauce on top. It looked scrumpsous and the taste lived up to the sight of it too. My thanksgiving company agreed with me. When next I wish to impress, I'll make it again.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

I didn't want to use canned mushroom soup for a recipe as I was trying to cut the sodium, so I looked up how to make it. I tried this recipe and ended up eating most of it before hand, it was good. I did still use the remainder in the other recipe. It worked great. More trouble but I controled the salt content, I used a broth that was reduced sodium and then I didn't add additional salt as called for in this recipe. Tasted great. The other recipe came out just as great. I'm all for reducing the sodium in my recipes and this helped.

Homemade Pizza Sauce

I liked it and I will use it again. I changed it only because I only had one can of whole tomatoes in the pantry. What I did was to put them in the blender and made puree, then since I didn't have the other can of crushed tomatoes on hand I just reduced slightly the herb and spices as stated. Came out great.

Egg Foo Yung II

First time I tried making egg foo young and it came out great. I made rice and had them over it so next time I will double the sauce. I did not add any meat. I did add about 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger to the recipe. Also I used my big fry pan and made one at a time but what happened was the 1/2 cup of egg mixture spread out too much making them thin. Next time I will still do the 1/2 cup per serving however I will try using a smaller fry pan in hope that they will come out a bit thicker.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

I whipped this up on the spur of the moment. I already had left over rice so that I wanted to use up so that made it quick for me. Loved it. Just the right sweet, and not overpowering soy sauce. It's a keeper.

Apple Bundt Cake

Delish! I will make this one again. What I did as per reviews: I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar in place of 1/2 cup of the white sugar. I had an orange on hand so I squeezed it for the 1/4 cup of orange juice mentioned in recipe. I did add an extra cup of diced apples. Lastly I drizzled it with a confectionery sugar mixed with a tad of water and some vanilla.

Chocolate Frosting I

This was great, I used it to decorate a large chocolate chip cookie/cake. There was plenty with about a cup of frosting left over. I also used butter ( I never use margarine in anything). I will use this recipe again.

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

It came out great. I used a pan with sides for two reasons. One was the over spill everyone was mentioning. The other was I wanted the cookie itself to have sides more like a cake instead of having side like a regular chocolate chip cookie. I decorated the cookie for a Birthday. I'm going to make it again today for my grand daughters Birthday, maybe I'll get more creative with some frosting on the top.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

I had never done chicken wings before when I decided to try this recipe because of the rave reviews. I am adding my own rave review with 5 stars! These came out better than all the take outs we've had around our home, and better than or equal to what we've had out at a restaurant. When and if the mood stikes me again (I don't often fry anything)I shall use this same reciepe just as it is. Hubby and adult son thought they were the tops too!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

I love the combo of peanutbutter and chocolate! That is why I tried these. My first batch was so yummy it went way to fast. The second batch came out different....hmm so this is what I found. My first batch was wetter, just barely able to mold into a ball. These are the ones that were so yummy. My second batch came out drier and left me wondering why, once they were baked they were still good, but not spectacular like the first batch had been. Used large egg in both. But I believe my problem batch I over did the sugar. My third batch I went just scant on the sugars (which I used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown). Back to YUMMY! So don't let the wet batter fool you. It's going to come out GREAT. Either way they are good cookie.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Excellent! I only had two loaf pans so I made 12 muffins in place of the third loaf. Baked them for about 30-35 minutes. My little grandson is gobbling them up as I write.
