Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
Quite possibly the best roast I have ever tasted. I added garlic powder and a little salt to the flour mixture and used beef consume to deglaze the pan instead of dry vermouth. Fantastic!!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2009
Very good!! I took some of the other advice and used 2 C. of sugar and 1 C. of brown sugar. It ended up making 1 loaf, 12 muffins, and 1 mini loaf. Perfect!! Thanks for such a great recipe!

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
Very good. I made this as a side dish and my husband and daughter loved it. I ended up eating them as my meal instead!! The only change I made was to use extra chicken broth instead of water to add more liquid as it cooked. I let them cook on the stove for about 5 hours because I did not soak my beans overnight. Excellent!!
