Scrumptious Salisbury Steak in Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2014
I love this dish and make it often. I follow the recipe but add a few potatoes that have been microwaved a few minutes, slice them then let them finish cooking in the gravy after the patties are added back to the pan.

Beef and Mushroom Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
Loved this! I added some ground Italian Sausage with the Ground Beef, cooked onions and garlic in the ground beef fat and added oregano to the meat/sauce mixture. This is a keeper!

Grilled Delmonico Steaks

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
This recipe has waaay too much salt! I should of read the reviews before I ruined 2 expensive steaks. There was no way I could eat the steak - it was so salty. I'm not sure I would make this again but if I did, I would omit the salt and the steak seasoning, and use only 2 T of soy sauce.

Warm Crab Parmesan Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
EXCELLENT! I will make this again and again! A few suggestions: do not use canned crab meat - get the good stuff from the seafood section. Also, make sure you use shredded parm cheese - not that stuff in a can. It will make a big difference.

Mom's Stovetop Pork Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
This is a very good recipe. I was looking for a different way to cook ribs (other than on the grill) and this recipe did not disappoint. I made one adjustment: I had apple cider in the frig so I used that with a little bit of water for the liquid. The only thing I'm curious about is that the liquid didn't cook down. I didn't cut the ribs into single pieces and am wondering if that made a difference. I cut them into several large pieces that fit in the large pot. Would love for the person that published this recipe to respond.

Stuffed Chicken Valentino

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
This recipe looks better than it tastes. I think it would be much better if it had a sauce poured over it. It was a bit dry.

Basil Pesto Bread

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
WOW! This is so delicious! I had quite a bit of basil in my garden that I needed to use before it went to seed. This recipe sounded great and it didn't disappoint. Next time I may add a thin slice of red onion.

Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
This dish was so delicious and took no time to make. My husband raved on it. I added a small can of green chiles to give it a bit more punch. Next time I'll make it with chopped, cooked chicken instead of the ground beef.

Italian Christmas Bread with Eggnog Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
This bread is so delicious and easy to make. I was afraid the with 2 T. of anise seed it would be a bit too much spice but it turned out so good!

Hungarian Goulash I

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
Great meal to make when time is short. I added a cup of sour cream before serving to make it a little creamy and it turned out great. Also, be sure to use the highest quality, freshest paprika. It will make a big difference.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I've made many recipes from Allrecipes.com over the years but this one is by far one of the best! The only thing I did a little different - I added about 2 cups of chicken broth to the water, used more ham and about 1 T. of oregano. Magnificent!!

Old Fashioned Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
This recipe was so AWESOME! I made just a few changes - added an additional 2 cups of water along with a T. of chicken bullion (for richer flavor) and doubled the dumpling recipe. This is a DEFINATE keeper!

Deni's Strawberry Cheese Pie

Great, simple recipe. Takes no time to put together. I poured a strawberry glaze over the strawberries which seem to hold all the ingredients together.

Chili I

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
What a great chili recipe! The only thing I would change is to cut back on the brown sugar by about half. It was just a tad too sweet.

Cocktail Meatballs

This past Christmas season my husband and I had family over and I decided to do a bunch of fun appetizers instead of the usual. I made this recipe as one of about 8 appetizers. It was gone in no time and everyone was asking if there was more! Next time, I think I'll double the recipe.

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2004
I've made this recipe twice now for company and have had only rave reviews! However, I always end up having to bake it for at 2 hours. ALso, I thought it was just a bit too sweet so the second time I made it I used a half cup less sugar and it tasted wonderful.
